Lake Ridge
Clair Redmon
Clair Redmon
The explosive outside hitter has been one of Lake Ridge’s top players so far in the season, using her athleticism and arm power to be a force at the pin for the team. Redmon is also very skilled and that’s showing in the good numbers she’s putting on the defensive side of the game. The outside hitter currently leads the team in kills (287), ranks second in passes (393) and third in digs (229) and blocks (20).
Carley Below

The senior setter has been filling the box score every time she goes on the court as her excellent performances have been tremendously helping the Eagles succeed. A lefty, the 5’7″ Below is thriving in her main duty as Lake Ridge’s setter, having produced 473 assists so far in the season, but she’s providing great help in other areas too. As of now, she leads the team in aces (35) and ranks second in digs (235) and fourth in kills (107).
Sa’Myah Medford

A middle blocker turned into an outside hitter, Medford has been adjusting well to the new position. While she’s still working on improving her backcourt skills, her play at the net has been nothing short of great as she’s proven to be more than capable of sharing the team’s offensive load with Redmon. Medford is the Eagles’ second-best scorer in the season with 281 kills.
Mansfield
Mia Clay
Mia Clay
The powerful outside hitter has emerged as Mansfield’s leading scoring option this season, finding ways to put the ball down from the pin. Very explosive and dynamic, Clay can also hit from the right and has proven to be a reliable offensive option. She tops the team in kills (262) and aces (36) and ranks third in passes (262) and digs (234).
Nicole Ngo

If Clay has been Mansfield’s offensive star this season, the same can be said about Ngo when it comes to the backcourt. The 5’3″ libero has been leading the team’s defensive efforts and putting on excellent performances and impressive stats with her play. Ngo has not only been leading the Tigers in digs (455) and passes (405), but she also ranks third in aces (24).
Resta has been having a very good season running Mansfield’s offense as a junior. A setter with good size and even better hands, she’s been the lives of her hitters easier with her smart ball distribution and consistency. She surpassed 1,000 career assists not long ago, having tallied 703 this season alone, and has also contributed in other areas, ranking second in aces (26), third in digs (234) and fourth in blocks (30).
