Lansing dominates in the middle of the front row for the Bobcats. She shows good awareness and positions herself well for sets. When she receives them in a good position, down comes the hammer. She’s agile for her size, and can locate her dinks when she doesn’t time the set right or it’s off target. She’s an imposing figure defensively, providing a wall for opposing hitters. It’s surprising she’s yet to find a college home.
Meyer is a joy to watch. She seemingly digs out anything remotely close to her and delivers crisp passes off of them. Her left-handed serve attacks those folks on the receiving end and features some nasty movement. Meyer possesses a deep understanding of the game, signaling location to servers based on how she sees the defense lining up. Coaches often are tasked with that job.
Ava Demmer

An all-court player, Demmer captains her squad. She makes strong decisions with her sets and places them where her hitters can finish. She does a nice job disguising where she’s going with the set until she’s ready to pop it, helping to get the defense out of position. She serves well and is long enough to help at the net defensively.

Only a junior, Ernst swings it well from the left outside spot. She can jump and has good hang time, allowing her to read the defense and locate her kills. She’s not a one-trick pony, however. She handles the back row smoothly and owns an impressive serve with velocity and movement.
One of the top sophomores in the state, McComas can do it all. She’s comfortable in every spot on the court and makes plays from all of them. She’s especially strong on the left outside and the middle, but can also hit from the right side. From the back row, she’s adept at digging on serve-receive and dishing out usable passes off of them. Her serve is consistent. This one has a bright future.
