Parkway West Longhorns

Parkway West would knock off Francis Howell Central in the semifinals and then defending Class 4 state champion Westminister in the finals.

From our conversations throughout the two-day 62-team tournament, Saxony wasn't mentioned to be a contender. People took notice once they knocked off Class 2 favorite Jefferson in 2. Saxony would beat Farmington in 2 to win their 1st title at Dig for Life.

The Semifinal match would go to the Lancers with a 2-1 win over Farmington, and the championship was a sweep of Althoff Catholic, IL. [player_tooltip player_id='168037' first='Hannah' last='Leftridge'], [player_tooltip player_id='221230' first='Bennett' last='Raterman'], and [player_tooltip player_id='221231' first='Elena' last='Ruble'] were named to the All-Tournament Team.

In the semifinals, they would knock off Class 2 power Hermann 2-0 and take a 2-1 win over Clayton in the championship.
