From our conversations throughout the two-day 62-team tournament, Saxony wasn’t mentioned to be a contender. People took notice once they knocked off Class 2 favorite Jefferson in 2. Saxony would beat Farmington in 2 to win their 1st title at Dig for Life.
Lebanon Yellowjackets
The Yellowjackets came back from a 5-point deficit to take the title at the Hillcrest Tournament. Lebanon would beat Republic and Glendale in pool play, knock off Camdenton in the semifinals in 3 and then win the finals over Webb City in dramatic fashion in 2 and improve to 8-2-5.
