Cassidy Hartman Cassidy Hartman 5'10" | MB Iowa City Liberty | 2023 State #130 Nation IA – Iowa City Liberty
Senior Cassidy Hartman Cassidy Hartman 5'10" | MB Iowa City Liberty | 2023 State #130 Nation IA is a powerhouse. She makes smart plays and can hammer the ball to the ground. She plays 6 rotations for the Liberty Lighting. She is definitely a tough server, making the Rams find difficulty running an offense. Much like her front row skills, it is no different in the back row., during the game this week against Dubuque Senior she had 14 digs. She is one fierce player. She is one player that loves the game and you can see it in her laughter and smile on the court.
Mariah Rollins Mariah Rollins 5'7" | S Iowa City Liberty | 2024 State IA – Iowa City Liberty
A junior setter for Lighting. During the game against Dubuque Senior, she made such great plays to give her hitters like Senior Shelby Kimm Shelby Kimm 6'0" | OH Iowa City Liberty | 2023 State IA and Junior Gracie Hennings an opening against the opponent. She helped her team take the win with 13 assists and 3 digs. She is very calm and collected and it shows she has confidence in any hitter that she sets.
Brooklyn Miller Brooklyn Miller 5'5" | DS/L Xavier | 2023 State IA – Xavier
Brooklyn Miller Brooklyn Miller 5'5" | DS/L Xavier | 2023 State IA plays the back row very well. She makes serve receive look easy. She takes initiative in the back row and sets out of system balls, letting her hitters still get an approach on the ball. In the game against the West Liberty Comets she racked up 9 digs in an exciting two set win against the Comets.
Ryann Decker – Cedar Rapids Prairie
Ryann Decker is only a junior and still has one more year ahead of her. She is a strong hitter, with lots of energy. In the first set, Decker showed her high IQ by placing the ball very well or by using her opponents hands to win the point against the Trojans. She played a smart game taking the setter out for multiple plays making it difficult for the Trojans to run their offense.
Jacey Miller – Cedar Rapids Prairie
Another smart Outside hitter for the Prairie hawks. During the match against Iowa City West, her cross shot was definitely hard to defend for the Trojans. During that match she led her team with 20 kills helping her team with the overall win. She is also another player that plays 6 rotations helping her team run an offense with 11 digs.
