Wichita Power 10: Week 3

We deliberated on changing this to a South/Central rankings but decided on making that change next fall. Andale (26-0)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another tournament championship for Andale was highlighted by two victories over Andover Central and one over Eisenhower. Hayden Grimes digging at over 4 per set. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2. Maize South (13-2)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A perfect September for the Mavericks and let us remind you they've only lost to one team this season. Hutchinson (21-5)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Hutch dropped a few matches but we hold them at the three-slot. The Salthawks were dropped by perennial contender Lansing twice and Seaman in tournament play. Andover Central (22-5)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We won't hold the two losses to number 1 Andale but the losses to Newton dropped Central down to the fifth spot. Circle (17-3)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Thunderbirds hold strong at 6 after a couple of defeats this week. One to #1 Andale. The second to a 27-1 Nemaha Central team. Reagan Smith, the junior setter is closing in on 500 assists with 482. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>7. Bishop Carroll (14-5)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We won't hold the defeats Carroll took in their tournament. They were dropped by two of the top 6A teams in the Kansas City area in Blue Valley West and Blue Valley Northwest. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>8. Eisenhower (19-7)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Losses to Andale and Andover Central were the only blemishes on their schedule last week and both are really good teams.
