Roth had the hit of the tournament against Saxony Lutheran. The middle was outside in serve receive, and the set was perfect to the left pin. Roth hammered the ball line past the block and down within the ten-foot line. The entire gym screamed out for this monster smash.
Tara Greenberry Tara Greenberry 6'3" | MB Incarnate Word | 2025 State #117 Nation MO – 2025 – Middle – Incarnate Word Academy
The 6’2 middle for the Red Knights makes playing middle look easy. Tara can potentially be a shutdown middle blocker, and the offers should be rolling in. She is still young, but her ceiling is sky-high.
Ella Domian Ella Domian 5'8" | OH Jackson | 2024 State MO -2024 – Opposite – Jackson
The lefty opposite of Jackson has some lethal attacks over the weekend, but her devasting line shot is what made her exciting to watch. The Indians have a couple of big bombers, and Domian is one of them, with 207 kills on the season.
Katherine St. John Katherine St. John 6'1" | OH Jackson | 2025 State MO – 2025 – Outside – Jackson
One of the most promising players in the tournament is St. John. She is a force at the net on the left pin for the Indians. She can hit anywhere along the net, and I don’t think she’s met a set she doesn’t want to flatten the ball. She currently has 303 kills on the season, and I think Jackson is one year away from seeking its first final four berths.
Bailey Boehm Bailey Boehm 5'10" | OH Lindbergh | 2024 State MO – 2024 – Outside – Lindbergh
Boehm had a fantastic weekend at Jackson, where she would rack up 14 kills on .366 hitting in the semifinal win over Farmington. A physical outside put together a big performance in the tournament play to give the Flyers a chance and play in the title match.
Abby Freund – 2025 – Libero – Incarnate Word Academy
Freund was all over the court last weekend and was an intricate part of the Red Knights winning the Jackson Tournament. Another young player for IWA will make them a force for a couple more years.
Sammi Bergjans Sammi Bergjans 5'9" | S Incarnate Word Academy | 2024 State MO – 2024 – Setter – Incarnate Word Academy
The Red Knights rolled through the tournament unblemished, and Sammi ran the offense with pinpoint precision. Great hands and consistency are what made Sammi a standout player at Jackson.
