The Tigers have a few matches left including two more conference contests to secure a league title. Here are a few of their top athletes that help create good balance and offensive production as a team.
Jessica Holsapple – 2023
Holsapple has terminated the most kills among a solid corps of attackers for Huron. Approaching 200 kills on the season she is averaging a team high 3.4 kills per set while hitting at a .254 efficiency. She can generate big pace off of her arm at the left pin as she opens well to the ball in the air to create good torque. She is putting up career high numbers that include 25 kills in an earlier match versus Vermilion.
McKenzie Heil – 2023
The 6’1 senior middle is a solid threat offensively a she is second on the team with 3.1 kills per set. Her length and reach create a big advantage for her when getting up to attack the ball. The team leader in hitting efficiency at .446, she also leads the Tigers at the net defensively with 2.5 blocks per match.
Casey Brown – 2024
Brown is a 5’8 left side attacker that provides consistent output offensively as she terminates 2.8 kills per set. She swings aggressively at the top of her jump to challenge the opposing blockers well. Brown also contributes well on the defensive side as one of three Tigers averaging 11 digs per match.
Azure Waldock – 2025
The Tigers other middle, Waldock is effective in her offensive role at 2.6 kills per set while hitting at a .385 efficiency. At 5’10, the sophomore has good quickness and agility in her approach work and lift off the floor that help her find good success through different tempos and set locations. She sees the court well and has good arm control to move the ball around through the opponent’s defense.
Tess Humphrey – 2024
The 5’8 setter leads a high performing and balanced offense as the Tigers average 13.3 kills per set as a team. Humphrey averages 10.7 assists and does a great job of getting all of the offensive options above ample opportunity to take good swings. She should soon surpass 1,000 career assists for her two seasons at the varsity level. She has 31 service aces to lead the team and adds 11.1 digs per match for a double-double average.

The Tigers’ libero, Camp is a big contributor in the ball control and defensive phases. She is currently averaging 19.9 digs per match, leading four Tigers averaging double figure digs. She has good floor presence around the court with quick reaction to the ball crossing the net. Camp had a career high 44 digs in a match earlier this season versus Vermilion.
