With Coach Steve Lyne at the helm, Todd Country Central has produced a lot of success this year going 21-10 and standing at fifth in the region. Todd Country produces athletes who love the game and live for playing. They have the talent, but they also have the heart. Here are four studs that lead their squad.

Lanie Bevins- One of my favorite hitters to watch in the region, Lanie Bevins, has put up some stellar numbers on the season as a middle, outside, and right side hitter.... 243 kills with an average of 3 kills per game. Bevins runs this slide in the front row that is just ridiculous because she hits the ball so hard that it's almost impossible to defend. She might power it through the block, tip it to the corner, or hit it right in front of you, but it's normally just scoring. Bevins is so smart with this little slide, and they even run it the back row when she's playing right back. In their match against Bowling Green, who is top 10 in the state, Bevins racked up a double-double with 14 kills and 10 digs. I'm telling you this senior player is a stud, and any college team would be lucky to have her!

[player_tooltip player_id='127202' first='Addileigh' last='Wofford']- Senior setter for The Lady Rebels, Wofford has totaled up the assists with a whopping 633. Plus, she helps the team from every angle with 92 kills, 12 blocks, 122 digs, and the team high 52 service aces. Wofford is exactly what a setter should be: a leader, a quarterback, and someone the team can count on in the tough moments. I was watching Wofford play Bowling Green when I saw their setter dump for the kill. What do you think happened next play? [player_tooltip player_id='127202' first='Addileigh' last='Wofford'] did it right back and got a kill. She's competitive, loves the game, and craves success. Keep an eye out for this senior in the post season.

[player_tooltip player_id='106697' first='Lucy' last='Chester']- The third of the senior trio, [player_tooltip player_id='106697' first='Lucy' last='Chester'], outside hitter, provides the team with fire and passion. When the team is in a bind, Chester is the person to set on the outside. She does so well under pressure and takes care of the ball but also wants to go for a kill in that tight situation. The numbers only prove it with 269 kills so far and averages 3.74 kills a game. Plus, she helps the team in the back row with 46 service aces and leads the team in digs with 193. Chester is a huge reason for the success of this squad and will be missed next year.

Alyssa Wofford- Sister to senior setter, [player_tooltip player_id='127202' first='Addileigh' last='Wofford'], this freshman outside hitter, Alyssa Wofford, will be the future of Todd Country Central. Once these three seniors graduate, the legacy will be left to Alyssa and her skills. I coached Alyssa at WKU Elite Camp, and she was very coachable and listened to every word I said. She soaks up the knowledge, and you can tell she uses it on the court. Alyssa's court awareness is advanced compared to other 15 year olds and moves the ball around well on the outside. Plus, she has a bubbly and bright personality that impacts any team she plays with positively. You'll want to watch Alyssa for the next three years as she only grows as a volleyball player and person.
