<p>A hard-hitting and high volleyball IQ middle for the Blue Jays would help her team knock off Saxony Lutheran in the quarterfinals, putting up big numbers. The 6'0" senior did all she could to get Jefferson back to the final four. She would finish with 24 kills on 61 attempts, three blocks, and five digs in the five-set win.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='242157' first='Emma' last='Brune'] – Outside – Sullivan</strong></p>

<p>Emma had a monster sectional match against Eldon but wasn't enough to beat the Mustangs and lost in 5 sets. A 6'0" outside hitter for the Eagles finished the game with 32 kills on 110 attempts and 25 digs. The 110 attempts would put her in 1<sup>st</sup> in the MSHSAA record books for most attempts in a match.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='168912' first='Holly' last='Heldt'] – Middle – Hermann</strong></p>

<p>It never fails, but the Bearcats every year have a big-time player on their roster, and this year is no different. Holly would have a monster match against Whitfield in the sectional round, and her numbers are impressive. 23 kills on 39 attempts with one error for a .564 hitting percentage. She would also have three blocks, 14 digs, and was the top-rated passer. Impressive for a six-rotation middle.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='240831' first='Dru' last='Koetting'] – Outside – Ste. Genevieve</strong></p>

<p>Another impressive sectional performance goes to the Dragon's outside hitter. In the 5-set win over Notre Dame, she would put down 35 kills on 95 attempts, added 15 digs, and was one of the primary passers. Dru will pass 1000 career kills in the semifinals against Pleasant Hill.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='214757' first='Peyton' last='Gross'] – Outside – Odessa</strong></p>

<p>In the quarterfinal 5-set loss to Pleasant Hill, Gross provided plenty of fireworks at the net, racking up 22 kills on 58 attempts, adding in 12 digs, and was the primary passer for the Bulldogs.</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='123465' first='Reese' last='Gray'] – Outside – Lesterville</strong></p>

<p>Gray did all she could in the quarterfinal loss to Winona to give her team a chance to make the final four. The new career kills record holder finished with 32 kills on 65 attempts, hit .323, added 25 digs, and received 53 serves.</p>
