There have been some amazing tournaments and great district battles. We have been talking to coaches, reading tons of stats, and getting lots of video submissions from parents and players regarding how everyone has fared over the course of the season. As we are now into the playoffs, we will be discussing some players who are being nominated for our Prep Dig Texas All-State Awards. Our end-of-season awards are going to be different because we are going to consider all divisions/conferences/classes together and pick the best of the best. The Outsides we will be discussing have been tearing it up and proving themselves all season long with some amazing statistics. Let’s meet some of the nominees:
Paisley Pavliska [2026] 5-9 Outside (HS: Floresville/Club: Alamo/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Pavliska is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays at Floresville high school and also club for the famed Alamo program. She has led the state amongst all freshmen in kills for the entire high school season. Paisley has already tallied 556 kills on a very impressive .242 hitting percentage. But she is more than just a scorer as she has some other amazing statistics. She has also amassed 493 digs, 357 service receptions, 83 aces, and 28 total blocks. I love her footwork as it is super impressive. Her heels hardly ever touch the floor as she transitions to her touch point and she doesn’t stick on the ground very long. Her overall level of play is the reason why we have chosen her as a nominee. Welcome to the big show ma’am! I will be watching her progress very closely as she continues to prove herself on the volleyball court. Please help us congratulate her on earning a nomination for an All-State Award.
Joy Udoye [2026] 6-1 Outside (HS: Cedar Park/Club: Texas Fury/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Udoye is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays at Cedar Park high school and also club for the Texas Fury program. I recently stated the following about her, “As a freshman she is already a member of the famed ten foot club meaning she can approach touch ten feet in the air. Joy has a very imposing frame and stands very tall at the net. She is already built for the collegiate game as a youngster. Her reach is extremely long and she uses it during her attack to hit over would be blockers. What is great about her offensive abilities is the fact that she is already able to move inside for a quicker tempo outside set and she usually crushes it between split blockers.” Her freshman season was one for the record books. She has already tallied 492 kills on a great .223 hitting percentage. She has also tallied 35 total blocks, 263 digs, 492 service receptions, and 39 aces. We are proud to have her listed as an All-State nominee. Please congratulate her on the honor.
Halle Thompson [2026] 5-11 Outside (HS: Grand Oaks/Club: Woodlands Revolution/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Thompson is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays at Grand Oaks high school and also club for the Woodlands Revolution program. We profiled her last month and stated the following, “She is also an established beach volleyball player as well as she has medaled numerous times with her beach partners and this helps her indoor game a ton. She has all of the shots you would want in an outside attacker.” She has tallied 485 kills on a great .236 hitting percentage. She has also tallied 76 total blocks, 349 digs, 592 service receptions and 42 aces. Miss Thompson is a player that stands out on any team she plays for. Her overall level of play does not go unnoticed by every spectator that watches her dominate on the court. We are very proud to have her listed as a nominee. Please congratulate her on earning a nomination for an All-State award.
