There have been some amazing tournaments and great district battles. We have been talking to coaches, reading tons of stats, and getting lots of video submissions from parents and players regarding how everyone has fared over the course of the season. As the season has just finished, we will be discussing some players who are being nominated for our Prep Dig Texas All-State Awards. Our end-of-season awards are going to be different because we are going to consider all divisions/conferences together and pick the best of the best. The Setters we will be discussing have been tearing it up and proving themselves all season long with some amazing statistics. Let’s meet some of the nominees:
Blair Thiebaud [2026] 5-10 Setter (HS: College Station/Club: Austin Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Blair is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She stars for College Station high school and played club last year for Austin Performance. Since moving over to College Station, she has run a 5-1 and showed everyone that she belongs at the varsity level. As a freshman, she was not scared of the top competition and shined very bright. She tallied 1,210 assists which was the most amongst all freshman in the state this year. She also managed to amass 58 aces, 360 digs, and 174 kills. She has the frame, form, and mindset to be one of the best setters in her grad class for years to come. We are very proud of her accomplishments. Please congratulate her on earning a nomination for an All-State Award.
Abbi Parr [2026] 5-6 Setter (HS: Birdville/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Abbi is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She is the setter at Birdville High School. Miss Parr’s assist total finished at 1,199 for the year. She also added 47 aces, 53 kills, and dug 381 balls out of the right back zone. Abbi is amazing as she stepped into a major role as a freshman and was not afraid of the role. She is someone who we think will be vital for Birdville to stay competitive for the next three years. We love that she is not afraid to battle opposing hitters at the net even though she might be a bit smaller than them. Her sets are very accurate as she moves the ball around to each of her hitters and that is why she was able to accumulate so many assists. We are very proud to have her listed as s nominee. Please congratulate her on being nominated for an All-State award.
Sydney Lund [2026] 5-10 Setter (HS: Dripping Springs/Verbal: Uncommitted) Sydney is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She was extremely impressive as a setter for the State Champion Dripping Springs High School this season. In her first season on varsity at Dripping Springs, she amassed 847 assists, 62 aces, and also 185 digs. We were very impressed at her ability to run a six-two offense and keep the consistency with her counterpart. Her ability to move the ball around to all of her hitters is something that I see will keep her squad in the hunt as long as she is on their squad for the next three years. She has the ball control that can keep them super competitive in their run to defend their title next season. Please congratulate her on being nominated for an All-State award.
