We already have 177 of some of the best players in Texas, Oklahoma and even a few players from Arkansas. We will get to see these amazing players in action against each other and it will be one heck of a show. We are writing a few articles on players that you should watch. This next article is all about the Right Sides or Opposites. Let’s meet a few that you will want to keep your eye on.
Eryn Peek Eryn Peek 6'0" | MB Frisco Wakeland | 2024 State TX [2024] 6-0 Right Side (HS: Frisco Wakeland/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Eryn is currently an unranked prospect in the 2024 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but she is on my watch list. She plays for Frisco Wakeland High School also plays club for the Dallas Skyline program. She has a long frame and tons of power to battle at the net. I love how she is able to play both middle and right side and not lose any speed or power depending on the different tempos. She is capable of running a slide out of both positions to the right side of the court. Any school would be able to use her in quick tempo situations out of serve receive and free ball play sets. I will be keeping my eye on her during the Expo to see how she competes against the top competition. Stay tuned for more.
Mary Beth Morse Mary Beth Morse 5'11" | OH Southlake Carroll | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-0 Right Side/Middle (HS: Southlake Carroll/Club: Madfrog ‘ last=”]/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Morse is currently ranked as the 72nd best overall prospect in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings. She plays for Southlake Carroll High School and plays club for Madfrog ‘ last=”]. We watched her last year in club as she played for TAV and she was dominant. This past high school season she stepped into a major role and tallied 214 kills on a .194 hitting perentage. She had 49 total blocks and was a big presence at the net. She is extremely athletic and very physical on the court. She takes a fantastic hard driven approach as she pounds the ground with quick footwork and uses every bit of her strength to get high in the air to attack. MB has every tool necessary to continue to move up the rankings. I am very excited to see her compete with some of the best players in the state at the Expo.
Macie Potter Macie Potter 5'11" | RS McKinney | 2026 State TX [2026] 5-11 Right Side (HS: Mckinney/Club: Excel/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Miss Potter is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She is a solid right side who plays at McKinney High School and also plays club for Excel. As a freshman on varsity, Macie turned it up and showed out. She tallied 260 kills on a .208 hitting percentage. She also managed to amass 38 blocks, and 45 digs. Her offensive production is one huge reason why I am excited to see her in action this weekend. We think she has tons of potential to be one of the state ranked players once I update the rankings. This young lady has a cannon for a right arm and unloads is often on her opponents. Keep your eye on her as she has lots of potential.
There are many more amazing players that will be nominated. Stay tuned for more articles on your favorite athletes to see who ends up with a chance at one of the prestigious awards.
