Houston Stop 1 Top 250 Expo: Liberos to Watch

After recovering from an injury that took her out of club season last year, we are excited to see her jump back in this club season. She will be playing for TAV Houston 17 Adidas in the DS/L position. She has a very calm platform in serve receive that we are excited to see in action next weekend.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='222795' first='Semaj' last='Cox'] / Junior / HJV</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='222795' first='Semaj' last='Cox'] is playing for HJV 17 Premier this season and is a huge asset to that club team. She has a relentless defensive spirit and has a great hustle and heart attitude. The First Team All District selection will be ready to show out this weekend after finishing off a successful high school season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='254244' first='Katie' last='Unterreiner'] / Junior / TAV Houston</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='254244' first='Katie' last='Unterreiner'] should be on your radar if she isn't already. One of the best defensive middle backs in 4A right now will be at the Houston Showcase. We are excited to watch her compete with some of the best in the state. With a great read in middle back and a solid, steady platform she will be able to hang just fine.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='254248' first='Kieryn' last='Moxley'] / Freshman / SA Juniors</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A new name and face is [player_tooltip player_id='254248' first='Kieryn' last='Moxley'] out of East Central High School. Kieryn is a freshman that was able to gain some playtime on her varsity team this year. While we haven't seen a lot of her this school season, she played for [program_tooltip program_id='431254' first='San' last='Antonio Juniors'] 14 Adidas last season and we know her capability is there. It will be great to be able to see her skill set in person this weekend!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='235997' first='Cali' last='Reece'] / Freshman / TAV Houston</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another big name you should know going into this weekend is freshman [player_tooltip player_id='235997' first='Cali' last='Reece']. High school and club stand out over the last year, Cali is one of the best serve receivers in the Houston area, and has a beautiful out of system ball. She will play for TAV Houston 15 Adidas this club season</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='254080' first='Breanna' last='Swanson'] / Junior / [program_tooltip program_id='431337' first='Texas' last='Tornados']</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I am super excited to see [program_tooltip program_id='431337' first='Texas' last='Tornados']' [player_tooltip player_id='254080' first='Breanna' last='Swanson'] this weekend. The Second Team All District player is an incredible hustle player on defense and never gives up on the ball. I've seen her take digs with some serious heat behind them and somehow still make the good pass.
