Logan Rubel – Middle – Howell Central

I watched Logan play in districts, and she is sandwiched between beasts on the pins, so offensively, not used as often. I liked her termination as an undersized middle for a Class 5 school to help slow down her opponent's attackers. She is a springy middle that finished with 78 blocks and 78 kills. Look for her to become more of an offensive threat next season.

Audrey O'Neill – Middle – Nerinx Hall

O'Neill was a big lift for the Markers in the middle this season. Still raw, but the potential to be a game-changer at Nerinx Hall is easily within reach. She moves well to the pins, and her height and wingspan in transition can make her hard to shut down. She would finish the year with 187 kills and 65 blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='170045' first='Ava' last='Robart'] – Middle – Potosi

The 5'11" middle sprung to life this season and finished with 438 kills and added 200 digs for the Trojans. She is a hard-hitting big celebration player with more experience and will fit in nicely at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='174406' first='Brytn' last='Lyon'] – Opposite – St. Dominic

She's a high-energy player with excellent size and hands and is from a volleyball family. At 6'1", she can hit on the right, has great hands, and could run the offense next year for the Crusaders. Lyon finished the year with 161 kills, 78 blocks, 139 digs, and 268 assists. D1 material, for sure.

[player_tooltip player_id='169896' first='Ellie' last='Witthaus'] – Outside – Incarnate Word

Another big approach player flies in the air to hammer the ball. Witthaus will be deadly for two more years and possibly help give the Red Knights a state title before she graduates. In her first full season with the Red Knights, she helped her team to a 2nd place Class 4 finish with 395 kills.

[player_tooltip player_id='168038' first='Sophia' last='Helling'] – Outside – Union

The 5'8" jumping jack from Union is used early and often on the outside, and she delivers. Her big approach and sweet roll shot go great with her powerful attacks out of the backcourt. She finished the year with 333 kills and 326 digs and could become a dynamite libero in college.

[player_tooltip player_id='168036' first='Katherine' last='St. John'] – Outside – Jackson

Katy is a tall, athletic outside hitter for the Indians, leading her team in kills with 401. She gives her team a power outlet on the left pin, and she hits over most blocks with her height and vertical. She should be a big-time recruit.

Abby Jones – DS – Incarnate Word

Abby is part of the backcourt for IWA that can play some nasty defense and is a huge reason they would finish runner-up in Class 4. One of the primary passers and a tenacious defender that scooped up 383 digs.

[player_tooltip player_id='174407' first='Mandy' last='Lawson'] – Libero – St. Dominic

The Class 5 4th place finisher will be in great shape for the next two years, with Lawson patrolling the defense. Mandy racked up 439 digs and added 65 aces with a tough jump flat float serve. She would finish the final four semifinals with 33 digs.

[player_tooltip player_id='170040' first='PJ' last='Reutzel'] – Setter – Fredericktown

When I watched PJ this year, I first noticed her athleticism. Undersized on the outside gets it done with her powerful swing and vertical. The part of her game I find her best at is running the offense with those silky-smooth hands. She wrapped up the season with 254 kills, 253 digs, and 450 assists. If she were to go the volleyball route for college, I could see her running the show for a mid-major.

[player_tooltip player_id='169899' first='Maddy' last='Bach'] – Setter – Parkway West

Bach isn't flashy but does so much for her team. She moves the ball around, feeds her hot hitters at the right time, and often takes advantage of her opponent's weaknesses. She's a stat stuffer for the Longhorns with 87 kills, 38 blocks, 267 digs, and 819 assists, and she'll be playing at the next level.
