There are plenty of high level 2024s who are still on the board when it comes to recruiting. Athletes who will have an impact at the next level. The ones listed will be part of successful teams, they will be on Open level courts and have competed on a big stage. I’m excited to see the progression, and looking forward to seeing these athletes compete.
I’ve watched Tolliver since her 15s year where she was just electric from the first time I saw her jump. She had a big 16s club year and is due for another big season for Academy out of Indianapolis. A six rotation outside, Tolliver brings a ton of athleticism to the court and is a big point scorer. I’m looking forward to see her all around game and what she can bring with her serve receive and back court attacking.
Wendlick had a huge high school season where she won a large school state title for Divine Savior Holy Angels out of Milwaukee. What Wendlick brings to the court is a really dynamic skill set where she can swing from anywhere in the front row. She was lethal on the right side where she could score a lot of points and provides a big block. However, teams have to follow her everywhere on the court, she will come through the middle and swing on a two ball and can put a ball away from the outside as well.

Marquardt had a big time high school season for Libertyville thats right along the Wisconsin/Illinois border. Big time season meaning she was a standout setter where her natural position is a libero. She is a floor general for her team no matter what position she is playing, she needs to be on the floor someway, somehow. Her Sky High 17 Elite squad has some commits with the likes of Ruth Ziegler (Illinois State), Brynn Smith (Northeastern), and Jenna Meitzler (Gonzaga). Her on court intangibles are extremely positive where she is consistent and under control, always making things look simple.
The versatility of Audrey Kocon Audrey Kocon 6'2" | S Mounds View | 2024 State #171 Nation MN has always amazed me. She has a really diverse skill set where I think I’ve seen her play almost every position. She can set, she can swing from anywhere along the front row, she can do it all. This is apparent in plenty of Northern Lights athletes where they have an all around game. Kocon is someone athletes can look up to with how her versatility is such a huge part of her team’s success.
Berkland will continue playing up on the Iowa Rockets 18R squad where she is a 2024. I was able to see her play at the Iowa State Tournament where her Clear Creek-Amana team blazed through to the championship match, finishing as the Class 4A runner up. Berkland has such a controlled platform and has a really athletic and physical style of play from the backrow. She can anticipate well and is quick on her feet while being efficient.
So solid and consistent. Falk is accustomed to high level training and play where she plays for the top high school program in Chicago at Mother McAuley and 1st Alliance where her 16 Gold team was always playing in big day three matches at qualifiers this past club season. Falk knows how to play big in big moments as well as knowing what it takes to be part of a championship culture.
Baierl has done nothing but win during her high school and club career. She just finished her high school season with a third straight state title and was a 2022 USAV National Division Champion. Baierl has a big time skill set where she is rock solid in serve receive and can take pace off a hard driven ball. She’s a high IQ player who is well trained and was an All State outside hitter – she can do a lot of positive things for her side of the net.

Salata is extremely well rounded, but she can really hammer with a whip of an arm swing. She was a key player in her high school team in Nazareth Academy to get to the state tournament this past season. Salata can see the block, she knows how to use the block to her advantage and will find ways to score points. Her Adversity 17 Adidas team will be one to have an eye on this upcoming season.
