– Bowling Green
There is an experienced and veteran quality to Barnett’s play as a setter. She has good court awareness that offers opportunities for her to keep the opposing defense off balance from the setting role and when attacking on the right pin. At 5’8, she earned 197 total kills and 673 assists in 2022 as Bowling Green finished 39-3 on the season, undefeated at home and in District 14 play. Bowling Green advanced to the state semifinals as Barnett earned all-tournament honors.

– Glasgow
Bishop has a simplicity to her game as a libero that allows her to play with good efficiency. She prepares herself well with good balance and does well to minimize unnecessary movement in pursuit of the ball. Her platform work is some of her best action as she creates good space away from her frame to create good angles. Defensively, she uses the same balance and patience for a first-step reaction that allows her to play the ball effectively in all directions.
Rylee Hood – Holy Cross
Hood has a great all-around skill set that she has continued to grow, along with her assertiveness and confidence, over recent seasons competing for NKYVC. She made the move to Holy Cross for her final high school season, helping add some depth around the floor in a few areas. She is a true utility type of prospect with skills that can contribute in any phase, including ball control, attacking as well as setting, of which she has trained and competed during the club season.

KY
– Fairview
At 5’7, Price played a significant role for Fairview on the left pin this recent high school season and has good athleticism. She helped guide the Eagles to a 24-8 overall record in District 64. Her best role at the next level will be through her ball control and defense as she can create good opportunities for her team through her pursuit of the ball and angles. She has good footwork in her approach patterns to the ball when hitting and with higher elbow action she can increase her contact point and allow for more range in the air.
