The Michigan Top 250 Expo was an opportunity for the Class of 2026 showcase the talent it has.

A group of 29 members from the class put their skills on display and had a solid Expo.

Here's the second of two player evaluations from the 2026 prospects that competed.

[player_tooltip player_id='261186' first='Maddie' last='Mccarroll'], OH Brighton/L2

[player_tooltip player_id='261186' first='Maddie' last='Mccarroll']

I liked a lot of what I saw out of McCarroll. There wasn't a drill or an aspect of the game that she wasn't successful at. McCarroll stands 5'7” and is very mobile and aggressive with her play. She moved very well around the court and you never could question her effort. Her serving, hitting and defense was all well above average for the Expo. She's just a gamer.

[player_tooltip player_id='226909' first='Kayla' last='Nwabueze'], MB Bloomfield Hills/Legacy

Nwabueze is a powerhouse that has a lot of big things ahead for her in the years to come. She's one of the most explosive players in this deep class, which also makes her one of the most powerful arms. However, she's put a lot of time and focus into her defensive play, which appears to be paying off. She's very smooth with her blocking and her passing is impressive for a middle.

[player_tooltip player_id='261199' first='Morgin' last='Parsley'], S Walled Lake Northern/Team Detroit

Parsley is a setter that also can move to the outside. She's got a real nice pop to her swing and times up her attacks well. As a setter, Parsley is able to make a lot of athletic plays for the position and get into position to make a tough set to keep her hitters in-system.

[player_tooltip player_id='261175' first='Kendal' last='Quain'], S Marysville/Team 27

Quain did a nice job of taking what she had to work with and wasn't trying to force a flashy set when it wasn't there. She stayed within the game and kept a point alive, waiting for the right chance to get a successful attack for one of her hitters. Her patience and consistency often paid off.

[player_tooltip player_id='261136' first='Dakota' last='Rae Robinson'], DS/L Notre Dame Prep/Team Detroit

[player_tooltip player_id='261136' first='Dakota' last='Rae Robinson']

Robinson could get lost in a land of giants at 5'2”, but there weren't many that played with more fight than she had. You can tell she just had a lot of natural athleticism that was combined with a drive to be better and make plays. She kept low to the ground but remained very quick and explosive to get to most balls that came her way.

[player_tooltip player_id='261172' first='Kailyn' last='Schlepp'], DS/L Spring Lake/Inside Out

Schlepp was another tireless worker at the Expo. She was putting her all into every drill and every point. She was very focused and locked in when the ball came her way. Schlepp had good command of her spot as well and was willing to be a leader on the floor to make sure the defense got the job done.

[player_tooltip player_id='226935' first='Lucy' last='Stoll'], S South Lyon/Michigan Elite

Stoll has active eyes and projects what is ahead very well. She rarely wasn't in good position as she could anticipate what was coming time and again. Stoll had a soft touch that led to a lot of powerful attacks. She also was a real threat from the service line.

[player_tooltip player_id='261214' first='Trinity' last='Thweni'], DS/L Marian/Michigan Elite

Thweni always looked very calm, cool and collected on the floor. That doesn't mean she wasn't into the Expo, as she continually made strong digs and kept rallies going. Thweni was always moving in some fashion, staying light on her toes to be able to maintain that quick first step.

[player_tooltip player_id='261195' first='Mccoy' last='Turner'], MB Mercy/Team Detroit

Turner is a well-coached middle that has a lot of the technical skills to be a force at the net. Her timing was a beat off at times, but that can be expected when working with so many different setters. When her timing was there, she had some of the best swings of the middles in the class. There's big things ahead for Turner.

[player_tooltip player_id='261179' first='Kiley' last='Urbanski'], OH SMCC/Michigan Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='261179' first='Kiley' last='Urbanski']

A 6-foot outside, Urbanski was tentative at times, but you could see the potential she has when she tapped a little more into her aggressiveness and drive. Urbanski looks like a natural athlete. Her movement is smooth and fast. Her swing speed is impressive as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='261189' first='Madolyne' last='Winowski'], S Oxford/Michigan Elite

Winowski got herself caught a little flat-footed at times, but it was a good lesson for her, as she started to pick up her intensity and speed and showcase just how much potential she has. Her sets were already smooth and accurate, now she just needs to add the consistent speed of play to help her be a complete player.

[player_tooltip player_id='261191' first='Makayla' last='Yaldo'], OH St. Catherine/Michigan Elite

Yaldo is a fiery competitor at 5'3”. She had an uphill battle to play at the net against the likes of 6-footers, but what she doesn't have in size, she has in effort and defensive play. Yaldo was very scrappy and fought hard to keep rallies going with defensive instincts and sharp passing. She also had a strong serve to impact the game in as many ways as she could.

[player_tooltip player_id='261165' first='Jolie' last='Yaldoo'], DS/L Marian/Michigan Elite

Yaldoo is a very composed defender. She put a few extra bruises on her body diving for attacks and serves, but she never looked deterred and showed the same level of focus throughout the Expo. Yaldoo also had a great serve that was a real problem for her fellow defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='226945' first='Jayla' last='Zayti'], MB Marian/Michigan Elite

Zayti had her timing down throughout the Expo. She consistently attacked the ball at a peak and was able to get a powerful swing above her blockers more times than not. Zayti had a steady pop in her attacks, but also was able to shift into another gear during a long rally.

The Michigan Top 250 Expo was an opportunity for the Class of 2026 showcase the talent it has.
