She helps anchor the size, athleticism and versatility that this roster features. Plus, the quality of her skill upgrades positions her as an attacker that should command the ball as she should find good success in her opportunities. The 6'1 <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='169124' first='Eva' last='Dittmar']</strong> can get up well and swings with a high elbow that allows her to swing well at the pins and from the back row. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='114581' first='Gabby' last='Jones']</strong> (*pictured) is flat out physical. She has big power off of her arm and can generate points in bunches at both pins. The versatility of these hitters to swing on either side of the court creates a lot of options for their offense. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Middle Hitters</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='139280' first='Alec' last='Rothe'] </strong>is the premier talent on this roster. Given her recent commitment to national power Florida, she has solidified herself as an elite prospect in this class beyond the Ohio border. She gets up extremely well and can terminate over the block and with range in the middle and on the pin if needed. The 5'10 <strong>Kelly Cooper </strong>maximizes her physical tools well in the middle. She can create good timing with a high elbow that allows her to get on top of the ball with good power as she likes to take max effort swings. With good spacing she also has vision and awareness to be able to turn the ball around the defense. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='169113' first='Soraya' last='Jackson']</strong> is athletic and has a dynamic arm in the air with ability to score at the pin and through quicker tempo options. Also providing support in the middle phase will be <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='261354' first='Sabrina' last='Ripple']</strong>.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong><em>Setting</em></strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This team has two capable setters in <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='139295' first='Maija' last='Eglitis']</strong> and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='139290' first='Ava' last='Prince']</strong>. Both can run the full scope of the offense at the pins and through a variety of quick options for the middles that suits the range of talent and ability they have in their arms. Prince is from Miami East and was a 1st Team all-league performer following her 648 total assists, 166 digs, and 103 service aces. She is athletic, dynamic in her pursuit of the ball, and simple in her contact and direction with good ability to go against the flow well. Eglitis is a Walsh Jesuit product that has earned over 400 assists in each of her two previous seasons. She has better size at 5'10, which can benefit her play at the net if in a 5-1 situation. With the depth of their arms and two quality setters, it is assumed that a 6-2 system may benefit their roster the best.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
