One of two attackers in the MVC to earn over 300 kills this high school season, Gaines is back to lead this team’s offense once again with her athleticism and big arm. The 1st Team all-league honoree is one of the best left side hitters in this class in the greater Cincy area and should command increased attention as this class ups the stakes towards their recruiting.

Gillespie is one to keep an eye on this club season given the success she had this recent fall and the increased impact and effectiveness on the court on both sides of the ball. She has great athleticism with big springs and an arm that she continues to grow her confidence in offensively. She was a top-ten attacker in the MVC with 2.2 kills per set and finished third in the MVC in total blocks earning her 1st Team all-league honors as well as being named the District 16 DIII Player of the Year.

Waller showcased her improvement in the middle well throughout the high school season for Little Miami averaging nearly two kills per set in the fall. She has good size at 6’1 and should make a bigger impact this club season, which will help create space for this team’s pins as well as continue to raise her stock.
Kailey McIntosh – OH
McIntosh has the best length on this team at 6’3, which will benefit her well offensively at the pin once again with her improved ability to use her frame well to contact high and challenge the block well at the net. She also uses her size well to defend on the left side of the floor. She finished fourth in total kills with 232 in the SWBL with a career high efficiency of .330. She earned 1st Tea all-league honors.
Sophia Arends – DS/L
Arends had a good high school season for Bishop Fenwick as she finished among league leaders in total digs with 25 for an average of 2.6 d/s. She is simple in her base and has good vision and platform skills in both the serve receive and defensive phases to create good opportunities for her setter to run the offense. Arends was also top-five in the GCLC in total aces.
