Michigan Top 250 Expo: 2023, 2024 Attendees

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prep Dig Michigan Top 250 Expo is coming up this weekend and it's turning out to be one of the biggest yet.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The event will be a great showcase for prospects hoping to catch the eye of college coaches around the country while testing their skills against some of the best players in the state.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>You can still <a href="https://events.prepdig.com/info?website_id=3&event_id=597">sign up for the Top 250 Expo</a>, but hurry, as the registration period is coming to a close soon.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Class of 2024 features a large portion of attendees, including some that are coming off very high-profile prep season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='172207' first='Olivia' last='Behen'] DS/L Saline/L2</strong>: Behen led the Saline defense to a state semifinal appearance in Division 1. She put all her effort into each point and came up with 567 digs on the season. An explosive player, Brunk is working hard to sharpen her all-around game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='110286' first='Angie' last='Butler'], OH/DS Mercy/Michigan Elite</strong>: Butler was one of the leading hitters for a talented Mercy squad this season. She had 208 kills with 150 digs. This year Butler had fewer attack errors and displayed a wider range of shots and speeds at the net.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='172199' first='Sophie' last='Crawford'], S Gull Lake/Dead Frog</strong>: Crawford was a Third Team All-State selection in Division 1. She recorded 879 assists, 276 digs and 232 kills for Gull Lake. She hit .340 on her attacks, showing a consistent all-around game this season. Crawford brings a lot of skills to the court.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='110293' first='Mia' last='Eickholdt'], OH/RS Detroit Country Day/Legacy</strong>: Eckholdt was part of a powerful Country Day offense this year, rising to the occasion in key matches throughout the season. In 2022 she had 291 kills and 262 digs. She's shown she can go toe-to-toe with some powerful hitters.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='153662' first='Catherine' last='Flaharty'], OH/RS Saline/L2</strong>: Flaharty helped Saline reach the Division 1 semifinals this season as one of the team's offensive leaders. She had 262 kills while also tallying 43 blocks. Flaharty was playing some of her best volleyball at the end of the postseason run.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='172200' first='Julia' last='Gojcaj'], S/DS Stoney Creek/L2: </strong>Gojcaj went up against a lot of talented teams in the 2022 prep season, but it made her a better decision-maker on the floor. She's got a lot of athleticism for the position, but her leadership and court IQ grew a lot this year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='110301' first='Hailey' last='Green'], DS/L North Branch/Michigan Elite: </strong>A First Team All-State pick in 2022 for Division 2, Green's consistent play in the back row led North Branch to the state title. This season she had 663 digs for the Broncos, putting her just shy of 2,000 for her career.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='222361' first='Clara' last='Gyomory'], RS/OH North Branch/Michigan Elite: </strong>Another First Team All-State selection in D2, Gyomory was one of the most improved players in the state this fall. She emerged as the leading hitter in a very deep North Branch offense with 354 kills while hitting .320. Gyomory also showed improving blocking with 64 this fall.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='172204' first='Caitlin' last='O'Neill'], S Skyline/L2</strong>: O'Neill led Skyline in assists this season with 687, while also putting up 42 aces. O'Neill got pressed to have to raise her game quickly with a very competitive D1 schedule. O'Neill grew rapidly and showed she's ready to take the next step as a setter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:image {"align":"right","id":170178,"width":151,"height":167,"sizeSlug":"large","linkDestination":"none"} --> <figure class="wp-block-image alignright size-large is-resized"><img src="https://prepdig.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2021/12/116-Johanna-Tillman.jpg?w=926" alt="" class="wp-image-170178" width="151" height="167" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">[player_tooltip player_id='110328' first='Johanna' last='Tillman']</figcaption></figure> <!-- /wp:image --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='110328' first='Johanna' last='Tillman'], MH/RS Dakota/Michigan Elite</strong>: Tillman was a very efficient middle for a talent-heavy Dakota attack. She hit .404 on the season with 143 kills, while adding in 47 blocks. Finishing has never been an issue for Tillman, but this year she showed a lot of improvement with her defensive play to make her a more complete middle.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='261138' first='Delaney' last='Zielke'], RS/MH Notre Dame Prep/Michigan Elite</strong>: Zielke didn't have the size as many of her opponents at 5'9”, but she made up for it with effort and technique. She was a real blocking force this season with 96 while also recording 184 kills as she developed into a reliable finisher for the Irish late in the year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph
