While the Top 250 tour has begun, it’s coming to Michigan this weekend! Taking place at the UWM Sports Complex in Pontiac, MI, this showcase is shaping up to be one of the best yet. The competition coming in is fierce and will make for some incredible volleyball on Saturday.
We have a huge pool of talent with some high level championship experience. Final four appearances and a few state champions sprinkled amongst the group, let’s take a look at this weekend’s attendees.
Clare Beazley – Saline
She’s the big name of tomorrow for Saline Volleyball and she’s coming to the Prep Dig 250. Clare Beazley may have spent a majority of her season on JV, but upon getting the call up before the post-season, Beazley has caught several eyes. Explosive, athletic and raw. Beazley is a name to keep on eye on during the expo and for years to come.
Olivia Behen Olivia Behen 5'5" | DS/L Saline | 2024 State MI – Saline
Arguably one of the greatest glow-ups of the past season, some would say Olivia Behen Olivia Behen 5'5" | DS/L Saline | 2024 State MI was the missing piece to propel Saline to the next level. Her growth throughout the season was rapid and an undeniable force in the Hornet’s run to the state semifinals. In the regional rounds alone, Behen put up an eye popping 7 digs per set.
Catherine Flaharty Catherine Flaharty 6'2" | OH Saline | 2024 State MI – Saline
Right alongside Behen, Catherine Flaharty Catherine Flaharty 6'2" | OH Saline | 2024 State MI saw herself have a huge growth curve throughout the 2022 season. While a left side by nature, this season saw Flaharty primarily on the right side, a place where she proved to be huge for the Hornets. At 6’2, Flaharty can be an imposing blocker and topple over opposing defenses with her arm swing.
Sidney White Sidney White 5'10" | OH Saline | 2025 State MI – Saline
When you look at the Saline bench, there is not a single weak link. Sidney White Sidney White 5'10" | OH Saline | 2025 State MI found herself in an extremely deep bench in her debut season with Saline’s Varsity squad. While court time was difficult to come by, when White found the hardwood, she was a force. A young player that has a great sense of her block and a rapid, developing arm.
Giselle Burlingame Giselle Burlingame 5'2" | DS/L Northville | 2026 State MI – Northville
This libero/ds finds herself on quite a stacked bench of defenders at Northville. Nonetheless, Giselle Burlingame Giselle Burlingame 5'2" | DS/L Northville | 2026 State MI has some serious potential for the Mustangs. In limited time, Burlingame has impressed throughout the season. Poised to be a starting libero for L2’s 151 squad this winter, Burlingame is a name to keep an eye on.
Ella Craggs Ella Craggs 5'9" | S Northville | 2025 State #127 Nation MI – Northville
Easily the game-changer of the year throughout all of high school volleyball, it is hard to say where Northville would’ve ended up had it not been for Ella Craggs Ella Craggs 5'9" | S Northville | 2025 State #127 Nation MI . One of the top setters in her class statewide, and her name is growing nationally, Craggs is a hot name to keep an eye on during the 250 expo!
Skylar Marteen – Northville
Like Beazley from Saline, Skylar Marteen spent a majority of her freshman season on the JV roster until the latter weeks of the season. But as stacked as Northville is with defenders, they are just as stacked with attackers. Marteen has a very strong upside to her game and she has a big pop in her jump that should turn some heads this weekend.
Isabelle Busignani Isabelle Busignani 6'1" | OH Marian | 2025 State #73 Nation MI – Marian
The MVP of the Division 1 Final Four, Isabelle Busignani Isabelle Busignani 6'1" | OH Marian | 2025 State #73 Nation MI is coming into the Prep Dig Top 250 HOT! An All-American, a First-Team All-State performer and a state champion, Busignani has had an incredible 2022. She’s only getting better mind you. As of recent, Busignani has shown a whole new level to her game with some extra pop in her jump and swing.
Allie Davison Allie Davison 5'10" | S Bloomfield Hills Marian | 2026 State MI – Marian
The second man in command behind Ava Sarafa Ava Sarafa 6'0" | S Marian | 2023 State #14 Nation MI , Allie Davison Allie Davison 5'10" | S Bloomfield Hills Marian | 2026 State MI has a lot of potential going into the 2023 club season after a season working alongside Sarafa. In her moments with Michigan Elite this past club season, Davison was the starting setter with great success. Davison holds a high IQ for the game and can also dual as a great defender.
Jayla Zayti Jayla Zayti 6'0" | MB Marian | 2026 State MI – Marian
Alongside her club teammate Davison, Jayla Zayti Jayla Zayti 6'0" | MB Marian | 2026 State MI was another young player on Marian’s bench. Another player poised for a huge club season in 2023. While limited in her appearances on the court, Zayti has had some serious growth over the past year or two. Zayti will be an interesting prospect to watch this weekend.
Sophia Barber – Marian
She’s the new kid on the block, but she won’t be new for very long. Marian’s newest member to their elusive club, Sophia Barber is a great talent coming into the Prep Dig 250. Barber boasts a heavy arm and some high level ball control. Before Marian, Barber played for Northwood High in Indiana, where she was a kills leader.
Aubree Deshetsky Aubree Deshetsky 5'9" | OH North Branch | 2026 State MI – North Branch
A player that is highly touted across the state as the rookie of the year, Aubree Deshetsky Aubree Deshetsky 5'9" | OH North Branch | 2026 State MI did not need much time to make her presence. Deshetsky plays a really well-balanced game at a very high level. Projected to be the setter this club season with Legacy, during the fall, Deshetsky was a critical piece for the Broncos as a six rotation outside hitter.
Hailey Green Hailey Green 5'1" | DS/L North Branch | 2024 State MI – North Branch
As of today (12/7/22), Hailey Green Hailey Green 5'1" | DS/L North Branch | 2024 State MI has picked up her fourth player of the year honors for her play this fall season. The steady heartbeat for the Broncos for sometime now, it was Green’s kick into the next level that changed the game. Her ball control is one of the best in the state and her defense is unlike any other.
Clara Gyomory Clara Gyomory 5'10" | RS North Branch | 2024 State MI – North Branch
One of the biggest breakthrough performances of 2022, Clara Gyomory Clara Gyomory 5'10" | RS North Branch | 2024 State MI has become yet another big name in the North Branch pipeline. Off the bat, Gyomory established herself as the go-to weapon in the Bronco artillery and has grown tremendously over the season. Clara is poised for a great Top 250 outing.
Shelby Ignash Shelby Ignash 6'1" | MB Cass City | 2025 State #124 Nation MI – Cass City
A Division 3 Player of the Year nominee and a First Team All-State selection, Shelby Ignash Shelby Ignash 6'1" | MB Cass City | 2025 State #124 Nation MI returns to the Top 250 this weekend as a returning top performer from a season ago. She’s a dominating presence on the hard wood. Ignash can destroy any ball she finds on the slide and can put up a large wall with her block.
