#6, Kelcy Curtsinger (Bethlehem)– Scoring an average of 7.62 digs per set, senior libero, Kelcy Curtsinger really helped take Bethlehem to the next level this year. With a total of 800 digs in 105 sets, Curtsinger impacted the back row with her quick defensive movements and fast feet in serve receive. Curtsinger defends in middle back and is the perfect libero for this offense because she takes care of the first contact and really perfects every play.
#7, Trinity Hannon (Berea)– Normally, with kids in the “most digs” category, you just think liberos, but this senior outside hitter really made some waves in the back row with a total of 442 digs in 61 sets. Averaging 7.25 digs per set, Trinity Hannon from Berea took off as one of the best passers on her team and now even in the state. Hannon also impacted the squad with 186 kills, 70 blocks, and 24 service aces. The team’s fireball and motivator, Trinity Hannon will be missed for this Berea squad!
#8, Madison Brady (Presentation)– Another senior libero to the charts, we have Madison Brady of Presentation who dug 682 balls in 95 sets. Brady was a force in the back row because of how fast she was and her motivation to touch every ball possible. In the district championship, Presentation may have lost 0-3 to DuPont Manual, but Brady gathered up 18 digs. In her last game of the season against Assumption in region, Brady ended with 25 digs on the night against one of the best teams in the state. Brady is a gamer, and there’s no doubt about it!
#9, Alyssa Dixon Alyssa Dixon 5'3" | DS/L Perry County Central | 2025 State KY (Perry County Central)– The first underclassman in this article, sophomore libero, Alyssa Dixon Alyssa Dixon 5'3" | DS/L Perry County Central | 2025 State KY performed at record speed this year with 667 in 93 sets. She averaged 7.17 digs a set and also tallied 128 service aces!! Dixon was a player that did her job and played it well. Whether it was the back row or behind the service line, Alyssa Dixon Alyssa Dixon 5'3" | DS/L Perry County Central | 2025 State KY would make an impact. In their very last game against Hazard, Dixon dug a record high of 33 digs and added 5 service aces. The scariest part about her for other teams… she’ll be back and even better for two more years!
#10, Kellie Brown Kellie Brown 5'1" | DS/L Clinton County | 2025 State KY (Clinton County)– Ending our top 10 with one of the best, we have another underclassman from Clinton County, sophomore libero, Kellie Brown Kellie Brown 5'1" | DS/L Clinton County | 2025 State KY . She finished the season with 731 digs in 106 sets and averaged 6.90 digs per set. You want that libero that simply won’t let the ball hit the floor, and Kellie Brown Kellie Brown 5'1" | DS/L Clinton County | 2025 State KY is your girl. She’d dive through the bleachers to keep the ball up, and that determination, that spark is what makes her so special.
