#1, [player_tooltip player_id='106669' first='Whitney' last='Woodrow'] (Assumption)- I bet no one could've guessed this one.... ;) [player_tooltip player_id='106669' first='Whitney' last='Woodrow'], senior setter from Assumption High School, put up some tremendous numbers in her final year with 1,517 assists in 121 sets. The best part is that made her average 12.54 assists per set. Yes, her hitters might have been talented from every angle, but you have got to give the credit to Woodrow. She made that offense look smooth and efficient. No matter what kind of pass she received, [player_tooltip player_id='106669' first='Whitney' last='Woodrow'] set that ball back into system and made her hitter's lives easier. [player_tooltip player_id='106669' first='Whitney' last='Woodrow'] was truly the leader of this team and will be missed next year.

#2, Cameron Downs (Mercy)- Next up, you have another star senior setter from Mercy, Cameron Downs, who tallied 1,268 assists on the year in 118 sets. She not only helped the Jaguars setting-wise, but Downs impacted them from every angle with 141 kills, 14 blocks, 208 digs, and 38 service aces. Downs is constantly working in the gym to improve her game and shows leadership on the floor when the team needs it the most. This year in 2022, Cameron Downs received All-Region 6 honors as she led the team to a region championship with a whopping 35 assists in three sets. Downs is still uncommitted. Anyone would be lucky to have this setter on their roster!

#3, [player_tooltip player_id='198544' first='Isabela' last='Haggard'] (Paul-Laurence Dunbar)- Helping lead her team to a second-ever state finals appearance, [player_tooltip player_id='198544' first='Isabela' last='Haggard'] put up some numbers for Paul-Laurence Dunbar where she had 1,350 assists in 126 assets which made her average 10.71 assists per set! Haggard is a very offensive player which is something you don't see in most setters. She is fiery, engaging, and determined to win at all costs. Plus, her statistics are just insane for a setter. Haggard had 207 kills, 62 blocks, 328 digs, and 44 service aces. Want the real kicker? She's only a sophomore!! Haggard has two more years of high school volleyball before she competes at the collegiate level. This kid will be making waves throughout the state for the next couple of years!

#4, [player_tooltip player_id='107404' first='Sloan' last='Coursey'] (Logan County)- A junior setter for Logan County High School, [player_tooltip player_id='107404' first='Sloan' last='Coursey'], stepped into the role of varsity quarterback this year and performed at such a high level with 1,239 assists in 120 sets. Averaging 10.32 assists per set, Coursey did a great job of running a high-level offense where she'd push the set to the pins at a fast tempo and set the middles off the net in transition. Coursey also aided the team with 74 kills, 33 blocks, 148 digs, and a team-high of 109 service aces. [player_tooltip player_id='107404' first='Sloan' last='Coursey'] was a great leader this year for the Lady Cougars and will be fun to watch next year in her senior campaign.
