[player_tooltip player_id='180284' first='Chloe' last='Hokenson'] S (Langley/Virginia Elite) - Her setting led Langley to a quick start to the 2023 high school season. At 6'1" she carries good height on the right side to lift the Saxons offensive game. Her serving also creates problems for opponents, coming at them like a bullet in a downward trajectory. The liberty District named her a first teamer and the Class 6 Region selected her player of the year. Movement 10 to 7.

[player_tooltip player_id='209790' first='Aubrey' last='Hatch'] OH (Colgan/Virginia Juniors) - Aubrey provides some balance to their offense. [player_tooltip player_id='181185' first='Brielle' last='Kemavor'] hits the middle and Aubrey covers the left side. Aubrey led her team in kills per set and serving aces. She also plays all six rotations, finishing second in digs and serve receive. All this made her a first team selection in the Cardinal District and the Class 6 Regional team. Movement 18 to 9.

[player_tooltip player_id='180296' first='Madison' last='Bowser'] MB - pictured above (Bishop O'Connell/Metro) - If you stand next to the hitting line and close your eyes it becomes pretty evident when Madison hits the ball. The snap of the wrist and the sound of the ball when it hits the floor is unique. Consistency keeps her game from rising to the elite level. That will come with time. She belongs to those late arrivals to the game, not taking the sport seriously until her sophomore year in high school. Another year with Metro and she could really break out. Movement 17 to 10.

[player_tooltip player_id='181234' first='Samia' last='Sayd'] OH (Marshall/Virginia Juniors) - First time I watched her play she single handedly almost gave Marshall a win against Langley. Her hitting from the back row and front row accumulated over 30 kills. She stands 5'11". Her back row play is solid. The Liberty District voted her to the first team. Movement 14 to 11.

[player_tooltip player_id='209800' first='Sydney' last='Pham'] L/DS (James Madison/Vienna Elite) - All a coach asks in a libero is consistency. Sydney defines that. She led her team in digs and aces while stationed as the primary passer on the team. The Concord District voted her to the first team as did the Class 6 Region. She earned libero of the year honors. Movement 46 to 27.

[player_tooltip player_id='181237' first='Zoe' last='Strachan'] RS (Forest Park/Virginia Juniors) - Zoe shined in the Regionals, combining for 35 kills in two big match wins against Colonial Forge and Battlefield. This allowed them to advance to the State Championship where they lost in the first round to Kellam. Zoe led her team in kills. The Cardinal District voted her to the second team. Movement 38 to 33.

[player_tooltip player_id='209794' first='Contessa' last='Falsone'] MB (Kettle Run/Virginia Elite) - We first saw her play last year for Dynamix. She played a solid middle with her offense and showed the quickness to cover the pins. This year she will be playing for Virginia Elite where her play should give her more exposure. The Northwestern District voted her to the second team. Movement 47 to 37.
