This coming weekend, one of the staple early-season tournaments, the Winter Classic, is taking place at the Wisconsin Center. Many available 2024 prospects will be kicking off their season this weekend (and some who already have a tournament under their belt). The Winter Classic will give us an early look at athletes and teams heading as we kick off the upcoming season.
Katie is one of the top-ranked athletes and setters in Minnesota. She brings experience, finesse, and consistency to the court. Katie utilizes every hitter on the court and isn’t afraid to take risks or utilize the back row. Her court awareness and volleyball IQ are huge assets on the court. She averaged over 10 assists per set during the high school season and earned All State honors in Minnesota.
Sophie is a dynamic and powerful athlete who can play all six rotations. She is fast, explosive, and aggressive on offense. Sophie is a player who you want touching the ball a lot. She has great contact points on offense and defense and is well-rounded and disciplined in all of her skills.
Highlights
Charlotte is a quick and jumpy middle who never misses an opportunity to make momentum-changing plays for her team. She is aggressive at the net and runs fast-tempo plays. Charlotte is a high-energy player and is engaged in every play. She has great off-speed shots and can power through blocks and find deep corners as well.
Abby was a key player in Kettle Moraine’s state tournament appearance. She is a talented six-rotation pin who is not afraid to take risks with her swings. She is scrappy on defense and has a competitive serve. She is an energizer on the court and a natural leader for any team she is on.
Kaitlyn is a high-level athlete who can play as a libero and on the pin. Not only is she disciplined and talented in her skills but she is also a leader and communicator on the court. She has great court awareness and was a standout player during the high school season and at the Top 250 Expo.
Highlights
Nida is a six-rotation pin who is quick and dynamic on the court. She was a unanimous all-conference selection. She plays high-level serve receive and reacts quickly on offense and defense. Nida is reliable and efficient as an athlete and teammate.
Milica is an athlete I can’t wait to watch this weekend. Her quick touch and smart choices make her dynamic as a setter. She utilizes every hitter and is aggressive with her choices. She is they type of athlete who takes on a huge role on the court and truly runs her offense seamlessly.

Abby is a smart and efficient pin. She has a wide range of shots in her toolbox and changes up where she swings often. She is hard to read and very athletic. Abby has a great corner shot and always keeps opposing defenders on the move.
Natalie is a smart and savyy setter. She is very collected on the court and has a quick touch on the ball. Natalie is also a competitive server and defender. She can swing as well as set and is very well-rounded and disciplined in her skills.
Highlights
Aubrey is a well rounded athlete who can play all six rotations and makes a positive impact on nearly every ball that comes over the net. She is solid in serve receive, defense, and has a lethal serve from the back line. Her offense is dynamic and she is a high impact player on the court.
