Player, position spotlight will be a series to highlight prospects and introduce players to fans. Introducing six players below whose contribution to their team will allow for a stellar season.
Yuri Park Yuri Park 5’3″ | DS/L Rancho Bernardo | 2025 State #61 Nation CA is tiny but mighty on the court. She has the speed and agility to get to a ball which allows her to cover the court in backrow. She has a strong, flat platform and uses it to control and guide the ball to her target. This is done even when hits are coming at her like bullets. She gets the ball up with ease. Park will hit the floor and get right back up into position. She is consistent in serve receive and a great defensive player. She has a bump set that finds its target and the pins deliver. The spotlight shines on Park as a player to watch this season.

Jamie Deines
Jamie Deines
Jamie Deines is dangerous at the net with her kills on offense and her blocks on defense. She has a fast approach and with a quick short set, the force behind her ball is nearly unstoppable. She reacts to an overpass by putting it straight back down. She can powerhouse a hit right through the block at the net. Deines has quick lateral movements that make her available to help her pins with blocks on either side of the court and strong hands that create a solid wall. Deines’ talent put her under the spotlight.
Preslie Saunders
Preslie Saunders
Preslie Saunders knows how to get a ball through blockers at the net to turn a play into a point. She is strong and knows how to adjust to a set to get the most out of its delivery. She is quick on her feet and jumps high enough to get on top of the ball. Saunders has good timing on the block which allows her to connect with the ball. Her transition is effective going up against the opposing outside hitter and stopping the ball from being killed. Saunders is a player under the spotlight.
Cierra Grant
Cierra Grant
Cierra Grant is a setter/right side player who’s skills make her a player to watch. It’s not often we see ambidextrous athletes who are able to use both hands in the game. That type of talent makes it easy for Grant to adjust to different situations that happen on the court. She has smooth, consistent sets that are on target and speed to get to the ball. As a right side hitter, Grant is quick and powerful. She also capitalizes from serving. Her float serve is able to get her opponents out of system making it easier to defend a free ball. Grant’s skills and technique put her under the spotlight for recognition.
Morgan Graves
Morgan Graves
Morgan Graves brings so many good qualities that work in her favor on the court; her height, her vertical, and her power. She gets high above the net, and the velocity behind her ball finds its place on the court to score. She is a smart 6-rotation player who can pass and dig in the back row. She reads the court very well by placing the ball in open areas on the court. She can hit downline, crosscourt, or score with a roll shot. At the net, Graves utilizes her vertical and strong hands for blocking. She also has a serve that flies straight and right above the tape making it hard to receive. The spotlight will shine on Graves this season.
Devi’arre Lucas
Devi’arre Lucas
Devi’arre Lucas gets in the air and hits over the block. She was the main attacker on offense. She can jump high, is quick on her feet, and can adjust on the court. Her technical skills to attack and defense are top-notch. She has the agility to go from one role to another, blocking at the net or suddenly digging the ball. Lucas can turn an off set into a play that works. She is a very good all-around player by being able to pass, block and hit. Lucas is under the spotlight as a player to watch.
