Her Shockwave 17 squad finished in a tie for 13th at the Matt Hartner Memorial Classic, improving on their 30th seed coming in. In serve receive she moves her feet and takes the ball on her center line, and cushions a hard serve just the right amount to feed her setter a pass with good tempo. Burke stays calm on defense, setting her feet and keeping balanced before making a move to a hard shot or tip. Her movements aren't rushed or hurried, she works hard to get a good read on the opposing attackers.rnrnu003ca href=u0022https://rsascouting.com/recruits/mailina-burke/u0022u003ehttps://rsascouting.com/recruits/mailina-burke/u003c/au003ernrnu0026nbsp;","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"Jenna Navone","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"6'1u0022","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"32564","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"Bishop Blanchet","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"ITVC","_player_evaluations_1_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_1_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_1_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Navone is a pin hitter for ITVC 17, and offers great length along the frontline, standing at 6'1. As an attacker, she has solid footwork and a fundamentally sound arm swing. She works the deep corners, making it tough on the opposing defenses. In one sequence, Navone took a powerful rip from the right side spot that was dug out over the net, then two other attacks from the outside until she put an end to the rally. All the tools are there, Navone is a high-ceiling player who should make rapid progress this club season playing for Island Thunder.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"Annie Sjolander","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"5'6u0022","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"32926","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"University Prep","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"WVBA","_player_evaluations_2_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_2_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_2_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Sjolander is a versatile libero/ds for WVBA and had an excellent weekend at the MLK Kickoff tournament hosted by NPJ and WVBA. Sjolander showed off nice accuracy in her bump setting out of transition, she is comfortable moving the ball around accurately to either pin. Her WVBA 17 squad finished 5th in Gold, with Sjolander contributing mightily.rnrnu003ca href=u0022https://sportsrecruits.com/athlete/annie_sjolanderu0022u003eSjolander Recruiting Profileu003c/au003e","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["250008"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Playing for Aspire NW 17, Saopraseuth showed off her great hands, it's always nice when your libero is a starting setter during the school season. The transition offense doesn't seem to be out of system at all when she is taking care of the second ball. She plays great defense and passes well in serve-receive, reacting quickly to tips and rolls, and hanging in against the big hitters. Her complete skill set at the libero spot should serve Aspire NW well as they battle for wins this season.rnrnu003ca href=u0022https://www.youtube.com/@lanasaopu0022u003ehttps://www.youtube.com/@lanasaopu003c/au003ernrnu0026nbsp;","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"Elise Baier","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"5'7u0022","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"32561","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"Wenatchee","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"Seattle Juniors","_player_evaluations_4_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_4_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_4_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Baier is making the trip from Wenatchee this club season to play with the Seattle Juniors 17 team. Footspeed has always been a strength for Baier, she can run down on off-target passes and still put up a hittable set for her attackers. When she is in system she hides her set location well, not leaning or tipping off her back sets to the defense.rnrnu003ca href=u0022http://Baier MHMCu0022u003ehttps://youtu.be/qIjjurkmYuou003c/au003e","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_5_player_details_player_name":"Katherine (Malia) Oden","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_5_player_details_graduating_class":"2024","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_5_player_details_height":"6'1u0022","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_5_player_details_position":"32924","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_5_player_details_school":"Annie Wright","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_5_player_details_club_team":"Puyallup Juniors","_player_evaluations_5_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_5_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_5_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"Oden is super athletic flying out of the middle. She is aggressive on 50-50 balls at the net, and is not afraid to make a decisive move to win a joust. Blocking remains a strength, and expect a big celebration with her teammates when she roofs down a ball.
