This stacked class is loaded across the board, with a lot of potential Division 1 college stars.
In our latest Class of 2025 Player Rankings release, a handful of players found their way moving up the ladder after a strong prep season.
7. Victoria Gray Victoria Gray 6'2" | MB Bedford | 2025 State #100 Nation MI , MB Bedford/Michigan Elite
Gray moves into the rankings as a top-10 player after putting up 172 blocks with 319 kills and hitting .500 on the prep season. The 6’2” middle has a high ceiling and should be someone to keep an eye on in the years to come.
10. Marie Laurio Marie Laurio 5'10" | OH Saline | 2025 State #147 Nation MI , OH Saline/Legacy
Laurio bumped up a few spots from No. 12 to No. 10 thanks to a breakout prep season for the Hornets. She guided Saline to the D1 semifinals while recording 471 kills, 373 digs and 53 aces.
16. Sophia Barber Sophia Barber 6'0" | OH Northwood | 2025 State IN , OH Marian/Michigan Elite
Barber jumps into the new rankings as a transfer from Indiana. Barber will be a great asset to the Marian program, which is already loaded with some great 2025 talent. The 6-foot Barber has a great defensive skillset to go with a powerful swing.
21. Alana Bailey Alana Bailey 6'0" | MB East Kentwood | 2025 State MI , MH East Kentwood/FaR Out
Bailey got a trial by fire during the prep season as part of East Kentwood, but it should pay off for her in the long run. Up against some of the top middles in the state, Bailey showed that she’s got the athleticism and explosiveness to compete with any of them. She debut’s in the rankings at 21.
23. Lauren Johnson Lauren Johnson 6'2" | MB South Lyon East | 2025 State MI , MH South Lyon East/Michigan Elite
The 6’1” middle makes her first appearance in the rankings following a solid prep season with South Lyon East. Johnson brings a lot of velocity to her attacks, but also has the awareness of when to go offspeed. She’s got good command at the net offensively and defensively.
25. Josie Noble Josie Noble 6'2" | MB Caledonia | 2025 State MI , MH Caledonia/FaR Out
Another debuting middle, Noble did some nice things for Caledonia during the prep season. She hit .328 in the middle with 168 kills and 66 blocks. Noble’s timing on her blocks is on point and she’s got a very athletic swing.
