This club is a family, and what I noticed from Central Zone, very talented too. Here is a club spotlight article on their BRAVO 16 Black team, coached by David Jackson and Jessica Lucas. (If you want my opinion, a pretty high-quality and fun coaching staff!)
Baleigh Young Baleigh Young MB Warren East | 2024 State KY – The clear star as a middle hitter, Baleigh Young Baleigh Young MB Warren East | 2024 State KY is the go-to from everywhere on the court. Young has a live arm, aggressive swing, and fearless attitude. She is unafraid while she plays and has that competitive attitude all of the time. Not only does she bring the energy, but Young is also so smart as a huge hitter. She might bang one cut back and then tip to the middle of the court to score two kills. Being the team’s leader can be challenging, but Young embraces every second of it. She will be a stud for any collegiate team!
Kiera Mobley- All-around outside hitter, Kiera Mobley, comes from Greenwood High School in Bowling Green, KY. Mobley is what I’d call consistent and solid. She might go unnoticed sometimes in the front and back row, but Mobley does her job and performs it well. On and off the court, she’s accountable whether it’s passing a ball to target or being on time for her next FCA meeting. Mobley is a friend to all of her teammates, and it’s clear that she means a lot to the girls. It’s great to be a talented volleyball player, but Mobley is also the athlete with a big heart.
Ella Moss- Coming off a successful season with Bowling Green High School, Ella Moss knows what it feels like to win and play at a high level. For BRAVO 16 Black, Moss is running a 5-1 and very impressively I might add. Moss has grown so much as a player in only one year because she’s put the time in to get better. She’s running a fast tempo offense, being aggressive in the front row, and communicating with her team at all times. Commitment is hard for any 16 year old, but Moss has shown her love for the game and exudes passion.
Avery Jones- A kid that I will never stop raving about, Avery Jones, from South Warren High School, is the libero for this BRAVO 16 Black team. Jones will literally run through a wall for you in order to touch the ball, and that’s the kind of player you want as the libero. However, in my opinion, that’s not even her best quality. She is positive, upbeat, and bringing all of the energy 100% of the time. A captain, leader, energizer bunny… whatever you want to call her… Avery Jones has the best intangibles every coach wants: strong leadership, high effort, and a great attitude.
