Class of 2023 State Ranking New Additions Vol 3

We have added 20 new players in this update.&nbsp; We have been watching the 2023 class very closely throughout the entire high school and new club season. &nbsp;A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone's recruiting profiles.&nbsp; We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects.&nbsp; The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='203054' first='Mackenzie' last='Boyer'] [2023] 6-3 Middle (HS: Vandergrift/Club: Austin Juniors/Signed: Louisiana State)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are proud to announce that Mackenzie has been added the rankings and is listed as the 125^th best overall prospect in the 2023 class according to the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings list.  She plays for Vandergrift High School and also for the awesome Austin Juniors club program.  She has been on our watch list for the past couple of years and she has really earned this spot due to consistency in the middle position.  A lot of middles score efficiently because of the fast tempo and regularity of splits in the block, but Miss Boyer drops the hammer like Thor and no one can catch up to its speed.  She creates a lot of momentum with her approach and then uses a super fast down swing to add tons of pop to the ball.  Very few middles run a true zero tempo quick attack, meaning that they are in the air hitting the ball directly out of the setter's release.  Mackenzie is one of those lightning fast middles who leave when the ball crosses their shoulder from defensive transition.  This timing allows them to be in the air prior to the setter contacting the ball so they can attack and make contact before the ball reaches its peak and starts to come down.  The LSU commit will be able to bring that type of speed to the next level.  Please help us congratulate her on being listed amongst the state's elite. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='301845' first='Olivia' last='Waggoner']&nbsp;[2023] 5-11 Outside/Right Side (HS: Bridgeland/Club: TAV Houston/Signed: Houston Christian University)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are proud to announce that Olivia has been added the rankings and is listed as the 167^th best overall prospect in the 2023 class according to the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings list.&nbsp; She plays for Bridgeland High School and also for the TAV Houston club program.&nbsp;&nbsp; She has signed on to play volleyball at Houston Christian University and will be a valuable addition to their roster.&nbsp; She can attack very well from either pin and does an amazing job of moving the ball around the blockers.&nbsp; She uses great court vision while in the air to be able to score where the blockers aren't.&nbsp; It is a lot more difficult than one thinks to be able to do that while in mid-air, but Olivia makes it look easy.&nbsp; In three years on varsity she has been able to accumulate 980 kills on a career .228 hitting percentage.&nbsp; She was also able to tally 111 total blocks, 590 digs and 29 aces.&nbsp; She is still getting better at her craft in order to hit the ground running when she arrives on a college campus.&nbsp; Please help us congratulate her on achieving the honor of being listed with the state's best players.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='301847' first='Julianna' last='Bryant']&nbsp;[2023] 6-0 Middle/Outside (HS: Harlingen/Club: Valley Venom/Verbal:&nbsp; Uncommitted)</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>We are proud to announce that Julianna has been added the rankings and is listed as the 170^th best overall prospect in the 2023 class according to the Prep Dig Texas State Rankings list.&nbsp; She plays for Harlingen High School and also for the Valley Venom club program.
