Continue ReadingWe are proud to announce our Prep Dig All-State Teams. Our All-State players are considered to have played the best at their respective position THIS YEAR. Some of the athletes listed may have played multiple positions on the court, but we have chosen them for the positions that we think they excelled at the most. We watched tons of matches this year and covered a lot of athletes in order to determine who was the best of the best. All of the wonderful players made it very difficult to decide both nominees and who eventually won due to their performances. Please help us congratulate these winners of our prestigious All-State Awards.
1st Team All State Selection: Middle
Amelia Robinson Amelia Robinson 6'1" | MB Llano | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-0 Middle (HS: Lago Vista/Club: Austin Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Amelia is currently ranked as the 52nd best overall prospect according to the 2025 Prep Dig Texas State Rankings and with what we saw this year from her, she has the potential to continue to move up the rankings. She plays for Lago Vista High School and plays club for Austin Skyline. We have written a few articles on her and here is a little from the latest one, “She led Lago Vista to a great run this season and is poised to be one of the main leaders for the next two years. Her stats this year were remarkable as she tallied 496 kills on a great .333 hitting percentage. She also added 37 aces, 108 total blocks (64 of them were solo), 211 service receptions, and 181 digs. She is turning into a total all around player. We are very proud of her growth as a middle and think she has not even come close to her potential.” Her overall production is the main factor for us here. She was not only asked to compete hard out of the middle, but also to step into serve receive and do more than most middles are asked to do by passing in a few rotations. This kind of overall play is indicative of just how strong of a player she is turning into. Please help us congratulate her on earning 1st Team All-State for our publication.
1st Team All State Selection: Middle
Elly Stewart Elly Stewart 6'0" | MB Cornerstone Christian | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-11 Middle/Right Side (HS: Three Rivers/Club: Alamo/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Elly is currently ranked as the 53rd best overall prospect in the 2025 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. Miss Stewart plays at Three Rivers High School and also club for Alamo. We have profiled her a few times and this is a little from the latest article, “She ended the year as one of the top kill leaders amongst sophomores. Miss Stewart tallied 562 kills on a wonderful .355 hitting percentage. She also added49 aces and 99 total blocks with 55 of them being solo blocks.” When you watch her in action on the court you will see just how athletic and agile she is in the positions. What I love about her is how fast she transitions and gets off of the ground to her setter. She understands attacking angles around the block and when you add her arm speed you get a lethal combination. She will be a kill factory for the next few years and we get to witness it. In the meantime, please help us congratulate her on earning 1st Team All-State for our publication.
