Some of the athletes listed may have played multiple positions on the court, but we have chosen them for the positions that we think they excelled at the most. We watched tons of matches this year and covered a lot of athletes in order to determine who was the best of the best. All of the wonderful players made it very difficult to decide both nominees and who eventually won due to their performances. Please help us congratulate these winners of our prestigious All-State Awards.
1st Team All State Selection: Setter
Blair Thiebaud [2026] 5-10 Setter (HS: College Station/Club: Austin Performance/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Blair is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She stars for College Station high school and played club last year for Austin Performance. We profiled her last month when she was nominated and here is a refresher of why, “Since moving over to College Station, she has run a 5-1 and showed everyone that she belongs at the varsity level. As a freshman, she was not scared of the top competition and shined very bright. She tallied 1,210 assists which was the most amongst all freshman in the state this year. She also managed to amass 58 aces, 360 digs, and 174 kills. She has the frame, form, and mindset to be one of the best setters in her grad class for years to come.” It was a no brainer to select Blair as a recipient of this award due to her production on the court. We are super proud of her performance as a freshman on varsity and would like to announce that she has earned 1st Team All-State for our publication. Please help us congratulate her on the special achievement.
1st Team All State Selection: Setter
Sydney Lund [2026] 5-10 Setter (HS: Dripping Springs/Club: Austin Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted) Sydney is currently an unranked prospect in the 2026 class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She was extremely impressive as a setter for the State Champion Dripping Springs High School this season. We profiled her last month when she was nominated and here is a refresher of what we stated, “In her first season on varsity at Dripping Springs, she amassed 847 assists, 62 aces, and also 185 digs. We were very impressed at her ability to run a six-two offense and keep the consistency with her counterpart. Her ability to move the ball around to all of her hitters is something that I see will keep her squad in the hunt as long as she is on their squad for the next three years.” We are very proud of her accomplishments this year. For a freshman to play at the varsity level is amazing, but for that same player to help lead her team to a state title in the largest division is even more impressive. Miss Lund is someone who we will keep our eye on for the next few years very closely. Please help us congratulate her on earning 1st Team All-State from our publication.
