[player_tooltip player_id='177532' first='Jadyn' last='Wilgus'] / AJV 17 Adidas

Jadyn is just returning from a NTDP session in California, so we are excited to see her in action this weekend with Austin Juniors. I really like Jadyn's ability to get in the air fast, and she seems to hang there while the set comes in. She is above the opposing block, and if she gets the ball she is putting it away inside the 10-foot line. Jadyn doesn't have to have a perfect pass or set to be successful. She can hit a quick set off the net and has range on her B set as well.

Josie Hoff / TAV 15 Adidas

Lefty right-side Josie Hoff got our attention at the Top 250 Expo stop 1 in Houston. This was our first time seeing Josie this season, and shortly after, we briefly saw her at the FAST Warm-Up. We do know that Josie is a very aggressive, strong right side with a whip of an arm. In addition to her height, her long arms add a lot of length to her as well. She is a very good pin hitter who is not stuck on the right side. I have seen her put plenty of balls away from the outside position as well. She can serve receive and pass well, she is a huge contributor to this already solid team.

[player_tooltip player_id='307454' first='Carly' last='Dossett'] / STVA 17 Mizuno

I am super excited to see [player_tooltip player_id='307454' first='Carly' last='Dossett'] compete this club season after her very successful high school season. Carly is a very disciplined setter. You will always see her squaring up to set no matter where she is on the court, and she can set either pin well from all over the court. The ball comes out clean even when she leaves the target zone, and her hitters are very successful. Carly doesn't try to over-play or do too much with her setting, she allows her hitters to be successful by giving them a great hittable ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='254278' first='Mia' last='Perez'] / Austin Skyline 17 Royal

[player_tooltip player_id='254278' first='Mia' last='Perez'] has to bring her best this weekend as Austin Skyline 17 Royal is playing in the open division. She is an agile libero playing the middle back position, and after watching her play I can see why. She is everywhere she needs to be in every play. From serve receiving tough deep balls, to covering all three hitters, Mia makes the hard play on the court, and as an opposing hitter, it's hard to beat her.

[player_tooltip player_id='318138' first='Sydney' last='Lund'] / Austin Skyline 15 Royal

State Champion [player_tooltip player_id='318138' first='Sydney' last='Lund'] will be in action this weekend for Austin Skyline 15 Royal. Her 6'1 size and tough high school experience give her an edge over other 15-year-olds in this group. While she is a great setter, she is also an excellent server, who can serve most passers off the floor. She is able to hit tough spots, and her serve is very low and flat. Sydney is capable of running a fast offense, so it will be exciting to see what Austin Skyline 15 Royal hitters can do with her sets this weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='225200' first='DaMya' last='Mann'] / Alamo 15 Premier

One of the most versatile players in the region, [player_tooltip player_id='225200' first='DaMya' last='Mann'] can truly do it all. She is an excellent middle, who is explosive on the block and has a great verticle. She works hard in the middle and tries to be available offensively every play. Her volleyball IQ is through the roof, and you can really see how high it goes when she rotates to the backrow and starts setting. Her hands are so smooth and quick on release, and she also plays incredible defense, digging some very tough balls. She is a hard player to beat and is a true competitor.

[player_tooltip player_id='192639' first='Olivia' last='Murillo'] / TX Legacy 17 Elite

I have been following [player_tooltip player_id='192639' first='Olivia' last='Murillo'] through the school season, and I have been really impressed with her passing thus far. She is a low-error player, who always seems to be in the right place at the right time. I am excited to see her play competitively this year, especially in this tournament in the open division. I think she has the consistency in serve receive and defense to really hold her own and compete. She could be the defensive glue holding this Texas Legacy team together this weekend.
