Top Players:
Kacie Townsend Kacie Townsend 5'11" | OH Newcastle | 2025 State OK #9, Outside Hitter for UPVBC 16 Elite. She attends Newcastle High School. Kacie is driving to Tulsa to play for UPVBC top team and she brings huge power with her. If opposing teams don’t put up a formed block, she is looking to dent the court. She has been a huge player for her high school, just southwest of OKC. If they can break through and get to state, she will be at the center of it.
Camryn Childers Camryn Childers 5'9" | OH Moore | 2025 State OK #14, Outside Hitter for OK Charge 16 National. She attends Moore High School. Camryn is part of the surge upwards that Moore has put together lately. It is more than power for her, she has control with her shots. She was impressive as a competitor with her mindset. You can tell with how hard she plays, she loves the sport and her team. I am excited to see what her and Moore look like this next season.
Ella Ramsey #7, Outside Hitter for Redline 16-1. She attends Claremore High School. She has bounced back from a knee injury in school ball and now back to literally bouncing off the ground. She has great athleticism and arm power. She works hard in defense and in transition. These things allow her to impact the game in a variety of ways. Look for her to be a cornerstone for the Zebras next school ball season.
Vanessa Fisher Vanessa Fisher 6'0" | MB Edmond Santa Fe | 2025 State OK #3, Middle Blocker for Rise 16-1. She attends Edmond Santa Fe High School. I had the unfortunate opportunity to coach against her last season on multiple occasions. She pummeled balls each and every time. She can turn the ball around a blocks with ease and really cause havoc at the net on defense as well. I expect her to be a big help in getting Santa Fe back in the state tournament.
Alison Dotolo Alison Dotolo 5'6" | DS/L Booker T Washington | 2025 State OK #17, Defensive Specialist for TPV 16-1. She attends Booker T. Washington High School. I was able to watch her a couple times last school season and again this past weekend. She definitely has earned being in the top 40 in her class. She is impressive with her focus on and off the court. She has a great early jump on balls being served and has the mentality that all great passers have.
It was great to see such a loaded age compete this weekend. Many of these teams will begin prepping and attending qualifiers in the next month or two. We wish them the best as the represent Oklahoma.
