Elizabeth showed grit at the Prep Dig Resolution. She was impactful as a pin hitter and played well in all six rotations. Elizabeth knows how to earn points and was a key player in the success of her 17 Red team. Elizabeth is a solid athlete in all of her skills. She is talented in transition and serve receives very well. She is a go-to player on their team.
Siena is a fun middle to watch. She swings well both in front of and behind the setter. Her sheer athleticism sets her apart. She is lethal off of one foot when running a slide and consistently gets touches on blocks. Siena finds ways to earn points on the court and works to stay engaged on every play.
Two words describe Hailey: scrappy and gritty. Nothing got past her on the court. She made smart swings, knew when to put power on the ball, and took great shots. She manufactured points for her team. Not only was she valuable on offense, but she was also a high-level defender as well.
Highlights
Amelia is the kind of athlete who will run through a wall to pursue a ball. She contacts the ball multiple times a play and will do nearly anything to keep the ball alive. Amelia is a natural leader on the court. She swings well out of the front and back row and isn’t afraid to take risks with her shots. She is also a very talented server and earns points for her team from the back line.
Addison can do it all. She is a stud hitter with a huge vertical and great ball control. I saw her on the right side over the weekend, but I am confident she can play nearly anywhere on the court and be successful. When she unleashes on a ball, it is impressive. She caught my eye numerous times during FC’s match against Sting 16 Gold.
Don’t get in the way of Grace’s line shot, she will win! She is powerful and savvy on the pin and never misses an opportunity to get a kill. She can play all six rotations. Grace is a springy and smart hitter who is quick and explosive in her approach. She also puts up a consistent and solid block.
Highlights
Jessica may be under the radar right now, but not for long. She had a breakout tournament at the Prep Dig Resolution, and pretty much everyone in the gym took notice. Jessica puts up a nearly impenetrable block and can rip the ball when she connects with her setter. Her potential is sky-high, and I can’t wait to see her play later in the season.
Jordan impressed me throughout the tournament. Every single match, she was improving and impressing. Her connections toward the end of the tournament were on point, and she moved the ball around well. Jordan has clean hands and good form. She has a lot of potential for big success this season.
Nadia brought a lot of experience to the court this weekend for Sting 17 White. This team is young, with several athletes playing up. Nadia was a serving specialist and DS for DSHA in their state championship run this past season. She was a consistent force in the back row for Sting. Her serving was aggressive as well and she was consistent in putting up out-of-system balls.

Montanna’s block was next-level this weekend. It felt like she got a piece of nearly every ball that came over the net. She had great timing and pressed consistently at the net. Montanna worked to move pin to pin to put up a block on defense. She also earned points on offense as well.
Ashlyn worked incredibly hard in the back row this weekend. She was smart and disciplined in her movement and read shots well. Ashlyn provided a consistent pass for her team. She has a nice platform and angles and uses simple movements on serve receive. I have had the opportunity to see Ashlyn play on several occasions, and she is an athlete who only continues to impress.
Mikaela is fearless in the back row. She will pursue any ball that makes its way to her side of the net and is great in coverage. Mikaela stood out because she seemed to get a touch on everything and never gave up on a play. Her relentless attitude and ability to make plays out of even the toughest balls kept her team alive in many matches this past weekend.
