Eleven teams competed in three 18-1 Pool Play action and Prep Dig was there to scout two of the three pools.

Emporia Volleyball Players Shine
The Emporia Volleyball Academy 18-1 squad knocked off Topeka Elite in morning action 25-18 and 26-24. Here are three uncommitted players who performed well in that match.
Audrey Peek, 5’7” DS, Lebo, ‘24
Peek is a quality small-school DS who shined in Kingdom Classic action. Peek had eight digs and seven service receptions against Topeka Elite. She is a consistent passer and has a strong serve. She communicated well on the court and show quality leadership skills.
Alexa Shivley, 5’6”, L, Emporia, ‘24
Shively was at the heart of the action in the morning match. She had eight digs and five service receptions. The Emporia junior has quick feet and solid receiving technique.
Grace Coughlin, 5’11, MH, Olpe, ‘24
Coughlin, Class of ’24, has a solid net-front presence. She finished her junior year at Olpe with 181 kills and 157 total blocks. The Olpe Eagle is currently uncommitted.
Two Uncommitted Topeka Elite
Tressa Jim, 5’10”, OH, Royal Valley, ‘23
Jim was one of the more impressive players in Pool A. The Royal Valley senior is a solid six-rotation player. She accumulated five digs, five kills, and seven serve receptions in the match against Emporia. Jim is very athletic and more polished as a defensive player than a hitter. She finished the 2022 High School season with 183 kills. She could be a solid addition to a community college program.
Abby Elffner, 5’11”, MB, Hiawatha, ‘24
Elffner is a two-sport start and has a physical frame for basketball and volleyball. She plays hard and communicated well. She had three blocks and four kills in the scouted match. In her junior season with the Hiawatha Red Hawks she amassed 387 kills and 77 total blocks.
