Continue ReadingI finally had the chance to see some of the 2026 ballers on the club circuit. Of course, I saw some during the high school season but seeing them during the club season brings a different dimension in my opinion. We will learn more about them when rankings drop next month but here are just a handful or two I made sure to write down their number and position.
Grace Martin Grace Martin 5'11" | OH St. Thomas Aquinas | 2026 State KS – Pohaku 15-1 – OH
Explosive left pin and a scoring machine. Love the swings she takes on out-of-system balls. Tremendous blocker at this point in her career.
Lindsay Miller Lindsay Miller MB KS – Pohaku 15-1 – MB
Strong and athletic. She moves very well laterally and has tremendous instincts. Made quite a few blocks where you can tell she was locked in and read perfectly.
Julia Anisimova Julia Anisimova 5'9" | OH Shawnee Mission Northwest | 2026 State KS – Pohaku 15-1 – L
Love how she takes command of the back row and is aggressive. Has no problem cutting in front of another defender due to her reads and athleticism. She is going to be another good libero out of the Kansas City area.
Macy Sims Macy Sims 5'9" | MB Shawnee Mission East | 2026 State KS – Mavs 816 15-1 – MB
Love her explosion off the floor and quick arm action. If you are defending her, you better be as quick or you’ll be in trouble. She has good size and uses her length to her advantage.
Taylor Stanley Taylor Stanley 6'1" | OH Blue Valley Southwest | 2026 State KS – Dynasty ‘ last=”] 15 Black – RS
Stanley showed she can take swings from anywhere on the floor and do it with confidence. We saw her swing both in front and behind the setter and use her jumping ability and reach to hit easily over defenders.
Sydni Lafasciano Sydni Lafasciano 5'7" | OH Park Hill South | 2026 State MO – Dynasty ‘ last=”] 15 Black – OH
Electric is what comes to mind when watching her in action. I’ve already seen the improvement in her passing from high school to February and she is one of the top 2026 prospects in the state of Missouri.
Paige Lattimer Paige Lattimer 5'8" | S Blue Valley West | 2026 State KS – Dynasty ‘ last=”] 15 Black – S
I love how smooth Lattimer looks on the court. She is never in a hurry and is always in control. She has great hands and her set placements are as accurate as I’ve seen in this age group through the weekend.
Rebeka Slaughter – Mavs KC – S
Another quality setter we saw over the course of the weekend. She has good size, athleticism, and poise on the floor and does a good job of moving from back row to front and getting her feet set to make plays.
Phoenix Fogel Phoenix Fogel 6'0" | MB Belton | 2026 State MO – Mavs KC – MB
A current middle who I can see easily move to the pin. I saw her take some back row swings and watched how good of an athlete she is, she will be a special one. Currently, she showed her skill set by swinging in front and behind the setter and has good size and length at 6 feet.
