McIntosh is 6’2 and a formidable presence on the left side with her length. She showed off her scoring ability well at Central Zones in Indy with her high contact point. She is improving her footwork, especially in the transition phase, to get her feet to the ball and use her length well to swing at high hands or over the block. As she progresses through the season expect her quickness and range to increase.

– OH | A2
Sparks has solid arm work skills as a left pin hitter and transitions to the club season following a solid high school effort for Oletangy. She scores points through good elevation and a fluid swing that has good pace. At 5’9 she develops good contact point that challenges the defense aggressively at the net. You can next see Sparks and her team versus a big competitive field at Bluegrass in Louisville in early March.

As a libero, Oster contributes well in the first-touch phase in both serve receive and defense. Her platform work creates good opportunities for her team as she creates good angles with her arms away from her body to put the ball in a good zone often for her setter to run a varied offense. On the defensive side, she has good first-step reaction and her 5’7 frame helps her create good range to dig the ball. This is a squad with big arms and offensive capabilities and she is key to getting them started.
Hannah O’Toole – RS | CVC
O’Toole is a 6’1 threat at both pins with ability to get ahold of the ball at a high contact point above the tape. When she gets her feet to the ball on balance she can develop good range to swing through the full scope of the court by finding gaps or challenging the block aggressively. As she has good skills to play middle, she can run quick tempos around the setter as well as close down hitters with good blocking footwork and hand penetration across the net. She has some big potential and the combination of her size and skills on both side of the ball is something to make note of as she progresses through this season and into the wave of the recruiting cycle for this class.

– MB | EliteVBTC
Lawrence has a raw but athletic quality to her game. She averaged 2.2 kills per set for Miami Trace this past high school season and competes for Elite’s 16 Black squad. At 6’0, she can generate good elevation that can help her get on top of the ball to drive it well through the end of her swing. Her skills in the middle continue to develop on both sides of the ball to balance her effort through her three front row rotations. She has potential to raise her stock this club season and is worth an evaluation as we enter into the bulk of the season among some of the higher profile events.
