Shockwave’s players are from Wichita and the surrounding area and have three players who have made commitments to Division I Volleyball programs
Here is the second of multiple scouting reports from the second day of the 17 Power League play.
Gracie Morrow Gracie Morrow 5'11" | OH Maize South | 2024 State KS , 6’0”, OH, Maize South, ‘24
Morrow is just enjoyable to watch play. She was on the Prep Dig radar clear back to her freshman year at Maize South. She just continues to improve her skills and is ranked No. 10 in the Class of 2024 among Kansas players. Morrow had 11 kills and nine digs in the match against the Springfield, Missouri club. Morrow has committed to play for Wichita State.
Grace Hett Grace Hett 5'5" | DS/L Marion | 2024 State KS , 5’6”, L, Marion, ‘24
The second Shockwave player to commit to Wichita State is Marion’s, Grace Hett Grace Hett 5'5" | DS/L Marion | 2024 State KS . She is a solid defensive player who lays out to get to balls. She has solid passing technique and is a spunky team leader. She had 11 digs and eight serve receptions against the Tamales. She is ranked No. 64 in the Class of ’24 rankings. When the ’23 high school season begins Hett and the Marion Warriors will look to improve on a 19-17 record in ’22.
Camdyn Stucky Camdyn Stucky 6'1" | S Maize South | 2024 State #97 Nation KS , 6’1”, S, Maize South, ‘24
Stucky is the No. 9 ranked player in the KS Prep Dig rankings for the Class of 2024. She is a six-rotation player with solid setting skills who can also hit and receive. She had nine kills, five assists, five digs, and three service aces. Stucky has committed to play for the Tennessee Volunteers upon graduation. Stucky and the Northwest Grizzlies qualified for the Class 6A State Tournament in ’22 and will look to return in ’23 and improve their 0-3 record in last season’s tournament.
Three Other Standouts
Three other players posted big numbers for the Shockwave in 25-13, 24-26, and 15-13 victory, two who are still uncommitted and one who is playing up.
Avery Elofsson, 5’10”, MB, Collegiate,‘24
The Collegiate Spartan blocker should quickly rise up the rankings. She had four kills and three blocks in the win over the Tamales. Elofsson is ranked No. 34 in the Kansas Class of ’24 and is uncommitted.
Jacqueline Cochran, 5’9”, OH/RS, Circle, ‘24
She had five kills and one block in the Shockwave’s first match of the day. Cochran is ranked No. 64 on Prep Dig’s rankings list. Circle finished third in the Class 4A State Tournament in ‘22 and could make a run at the state tile in 2023.

The No. 4 ranked player in the Kansas Class of 2025 is Jillian Gregory Jillian Gregory 6'0" | OH Maize South | 2025 State #66 Nation KS . She had 11 kills, four digs, and one serve reception.
