The Rankings Tournament is held each year in hopes of bringing the best of the best from each age group and pitting them against one another. This is a huge help when it comes to the regional tournament in early May. With head to head matches on file, they can make more accurate seeding decisions. PLUS, a full day of great volleyball in late February. I was able to attend the first half of the day and was able to finally see some top teams I have missed out on watching thus far. Lets take a look out how it all shook out and some of the talent on these teams.

Finish:

1st- Peak 15-1

2nd- [program_tooltip program_id='432025' first='OK' last='Charge'] 15UA

3rd- Peak 15-2

4th- TPV 15-1

5th- Rise 15-1

6th- Club Ace 15 Black

7th- [program_tooltip program_id='432025' first='OK' last='Charge'] 15 National

8th- UPVBC 15 Pink

Wrap Up:

The #2 nationally ranked Peak 15-1 team continued to dominate. Not only did they not drop a set all day long but out of the 10 sets they played, opponents were only able to hang 15 points or more on them in 3 of those sets. Coach Boyland and crew now sits at 33-1 on the season. Players like [player_tooltip player_id='301377' first='Skylar' last='Brady'], [player_tooltip player_id='284928' first='Annie' last='Hopkins'], [player_tooltip player_id='301378' first='Lanee' last='Heflin'], and [player_tooltip player_id='220247' first='Mayli' last='Whetter'] are fun to watch play this awesome game. If you havent gotten a chance to see this team live and in person, you need to find a way to do so. In the coming months, they will now set their sights on grabbing a national bid and they are extremely capable of doing just that.

Charge 15UA is one of those teams I finally got to see in person. I already knew [player_tooltip player_id='317563' first='Taylor' last='Rattay'] and [player_tooltip player_id='253948' first='Ella' last='Hale'] were key pieces for this team. They both effect the game but in two massively different ways. Someone else who stood out was #1 Middle Blocker, Eyiloluwafe Adedeji. She has awesome size and athleticism that will allow her skills to flourish in the coming years. Keep your eye out for this team snagging a national bid at MEQ or Lonestar.

Peak 15-2 also stood out as a team to pay attention to. They finished 3rd overall and the only team to score more than 20 points on Peak 15-1. I was impressed with Karis Abisied this past school season and think she can be apart of a ton of success in her 4 years of high school. Players like [player_tooltip player_id='505685' first='Miley' last='Myers'] and Olivia Kenworthy has the chance to also turn into quite a player in the near future.

Poll and Best Wishes

Your votes in our poll earlier in the week were on point. All four top vote getters, ended top four overall. Make sure and follow us on social media for more content and updates. The 2026 rankings aren't far away and you wont want to miss those.

Good luck to all of these teams that competed this past weekend. You are some of the state's best represenetives. Volleyball in the state of Oklahoma is on the way up and all of are proof of that exactly.
