Triple Crown brings the best of the best from coast to coast and everything in between. As some would say, “You walk in the gym and can smell the upsets!”
This is where the magic happens and this is where some of the best volleyball in the country is this weekend.
Let’s take a look at what we can expect from the 17u Power Pools at Triple Crown!
Group A
A5 | Adidas Dynasty | Houston Juniors | OT Felix |
Premier Nebraska | Drive Nation | TAV | WAVE |
We got ourselves some dandies in the Group A 17U Power Pool. With some of the heavy weights out of the Texas cannon alongside a mix of midwest and the south. This pool won’t disappoint! We got some of the heaviest hitters in the gym in Group A. A match to watch out for is the last match of Day 1 between TAV and Dynasty. Macaria Spears (TAV) and Skylar Pierce (Dynasty) will be going head-to-head in this one. Spears is a recent Dallas transplant from the DC Area, she’s got a cannon of an arm and a stout block. Pierce is off to Nebraska and is touted to be one of the top kids in the 2024 class.

Group B
1st Alliance | Adidas KIVA | Boiler Juniors | COAST |
Colorado Juniors | Houston Skyline | Momentous | Academy Tsunami |
Another real tough pool here in Group B, we got just a little bit of every corner of the country in this one. Kicking off the afternoon strong, we have a big match-up between Boiler Juniors and Colorado Juniors. The Boilers are coming off of a Runner-Up finish in the 17 Open at Central Zone. Libero Isabelle Humphrey (Boiler Juniors) will have all that she can handle and more defending Izzy Starck‘s (Colorado Juniors) offense. Another fun match to watch will be when Houston Skyline steps across the net from Central Zone Champs, Academy Tsunami. It’s going to the battle of the setters in this one. With Kirra Musgrove (Houston Skyline), one of the top setters in the 2025 class, going against Western Michigan commit, Leah Richmond (Academy).
Group C
AVC CLE | Dallas Skyline | MADFROG | NKYVC |
Rockwood Thunder | SCVC | Tri-State | VC Nebraska |
This is going to be a real fun time in Group C. With the reigning USAV Champions out of MADFROG in this pool, we’re in for a treat! Lainee Pyles is going to be in for another great weekend. A big and physical presence for MADFROG, she just knows how to put the ball away. She’ll have a great challenge in the NKYVC match when she meets up with Julia Hunt in the middle. Hunt is another physical kid with such great control over the net. Julia Sprecher and AVC CLE is going to be another fun match-up for MADFROG in this power pool.

Group D
Austin Juniors | Club V Ren-Matthew | Elevation | KC Power |
OT Aaron | Top Select | Triangle | Vision |
Rounding out the 17U Power Pools is another great group in Group D. Austin Juniors and Top Select is going to be a great showdown midway through the afternoon. Juniors has recent Texas commit, L Reese Emerick manning down the back court. Across the net, she’ll be challenged with the great offense ran by Louisville commit, Nayellis Cabello! National championship deja vu anyone? This surely will be a good one. Topping off day 1, we have a big match with Club V and Triangle. Big Kansas commit, Zoey Burgess (Club V) will have all that she can handle at the net trying to contain the likes of Asia Thigpen and Kiarrah Horne from Triangle.
