We have been watching the 2024 class very closely throughout the entire high school and new club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances.
Madison Triplett Madison Triplett 5'9" | OH El Capitan | 2024 State #149 Nation CA [2024] 5-9 Outside (HS: El Capitan/Club: Coast/Verbal: UCSB)
Please officially welcome Miss Triplett to the State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 8th best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays for El Capitan High School and also for the nationally recognized Coast volleyball club. I watched her in person recently at the Red Rock Rave National Qualifier and she was dominant. Certain players are able to go to another level and play the game with a chip on their shoulders to give them an extra edge and that perfectly defines Miss Triplett. I firmly believe that her attitude when playing the outside position has a drastic effect to how well she is able to play. As coaches we always talk about confidence with our players. Madison is one of the most confident players that I have seen in a while and it is easy to see why when you see her skill set she has to work with. Her offensive skill set is elite and she has every shot imaginable from a pin attacker. I just watched her control a game by her defense out of the back row. This young lady is the prototypical OH2 as she has ball control for days. I hadn’t seen an outside hitter be able to dig better than her libero in a long time and that is exactly what I saw with her. It was almost as if she had ball magnets on her platform because no matter where it was hit, there she was to dig it. I loved her extended defensive range and how well she rebounded the ball off of her platform when it came to hard driven balls She is ready for the next level and will be a great player for the University of California at Santa Barbara when she arrives on campus in a few years. After careful evaluation we decided to not only add her to the list but put her as one of the top 10 athletes in the state of California. Please help us congratulate her on the honor.
Kendall Beshear Kendall Beshear 5'11" | OH Palos Verdes | 2024 State CA [2024] 5-11 Outside (HS: Palos Verdes/Club: SCVC/Verbal: Cal Poly)
Please welcome Kendall to the prestigious State Rankings. She is currently ranked as the 33rd best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays for Palos Verdes High School and also for the Southern California Volleyball Club. She is a member of the famed ten foot club meaning that she can touch ten feet high in the air with her approach jump. Kendall is one of those attakers who is able to adjust very well to any set location with multiple tempos. Her timing is one of her strong suits and she uses it both with attacking and blocking. The swing blocking on the left side is astounding as she truly turns her outside hand to face zone six so that she doesn’t get tooled out of bounds by the hitter. This kind of attention to detail shows that she has been trained very well and listens to her coaches. The timing is also shown as she attacks from the back row and threads the needle around the block. Miss Beshear has verbally committed to Cal Poly and will be a fantastic addition to their roster in a few years.
Chloe Pravednikov Chloe Pravednikov 6'2" | OH Wilson | 2024 State CA [2024] 6-2 Outside (HS: Wilson/Club: Seal Beach/Verbal: Pepperdine)
Please welcome Chloe officially to the State Rankings. Miss Pravednikov is currently ranked as the 35th best overall prospect in the 2024 Class according to our Prep Dig California State Rankings. She plays for Wilson High School and also for the Seal Beach volleyball club. She has verbally committed to play volleyball at Pepperdine in a few years and will be an immediate impact player in my opinion. Her length is something that cannot be overlooked as it makes it very difficult for any blocker to slow her down. She touches the ball so high at her contact point and it helps her stay very efficient with her scoring. One aspect that shows very well on the left side is her snap on the ball as it adds so much more pace on her attack. While a lot of players add that extra pace with their down swing, she does it with a very fast snap of her writs/hand contact. A lot of young players need to watch this and see how much it helps add some pop to the ball. Her platform while digging in the back row is very controlled and she uses her length to extend her range well also. We are very proud to have her listed in our rankings and hope that you can help us congratulate her on the achievement.
