We have been watching the 2025 class very closely throughout the entire high school and new club season. A lot of the analysis has come from watching these players in person and also by watching the amazing footage that has been uploaded to everyone’s recruiting profiles. We have been talking to a lot of coaches across the country and this class is littered with college prospects. The following players showed us all that they deserved to be added to the rankings due to their individual performances.
Halle Jameson Halle Jameson 6'2" | OH Marcus | 2025 State TX [2025] 6-1 Outside (HS: Flower Mound Marcus/Club: Excel/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Miss Jameson officially to the State Rankings. Halle is currently ranked as the 57th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays on the pins for Marcus High School and also plays for the Excel Volleyball program. Most coaches want height from the outside position because it helps them score against elite blockers that they will go up against. This is one of the aspects of Halle’s game that truly stands out for her. She uses that length in her attacking as she contacts the ball at a very high contact point. By hitting the ball at her peak, she makes it very difficult for most blockers to time her attack. I also love how she crunches her abs while making contact with the ball to add a little extra pop on her swing. She uses it to her advantage and it has done a tremendous job in helping any team she is on stay super aggressive. Miss Jameson is a pure point scoring outside who will garner a lot of attention from college scouts as she continues to add more strength to her game. Please help us congratulate her on earning a spot on our prestigious state rankings list.
Tori Garrett Tori Garrett 5'10" | OH Liberty Christian | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-11 Outside (HS: Liberty Christian/Club: Dallas Skyline/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Miss Garrett officially to the State Rankings. Tori is currently ranked as the 71st best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Liberty Christian High School and also for the Dallas Skyline Volleyball club. Miss Garrett has been on my watch list for quite a while and recently we decided it was time to add her to the State Rankings due to her consistency of playing at a high level. She is a phenomenal volleyball player and notice that I didn’t specify a position when I made that statement. That is because this young lady can do it all on the court and has shown that this year to us. One aspect that truly stands out to me is her ability to find the perfect timing in order to attack at a high level no matter if the play is in system or not. She has an uncanny ability to speed up her transition footwork and keep her eye on both the speed/trajectory of the pass to determine when to leave for the attack. Her offensive skill set is what stands out to most, but I love her ball control in serve receive as it is at an elite level. Miss Garrett is a fierce competitor who also has a wonderful heart about her. We are proud to have her listed on this prestigious state rankings list and think she has what it takes to stay on it as she progresses through her career.
Simone Baskin Simone Baskin 6'0" | MB Bowie | 2025 State TX [2025] 5-7 Middle (HS: Bowie/Club: Austin Juniors/Verbal: Uncommitted)
Please welcome Miss Baskin officially to the State Rankings. Simone is currently ranked as the 78th best overall prospect in the 2025 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Bowie High School and also for the Austin Juniors volleyball club. In this state we have our fair share of players who fly high above the net and Simone is another one of these soaring middles who can stop on a dime and still rise up. She can truly climb the ladder to another level and rain down fire on her opposition. Her ability to drive her feet hard into the ground and the power that comes from it equates to an amazing ability to stay in the air with a great hang time. She uses that great hang time to score at-will against middles who don’t have her gifts. A lot of middles run quick sets at many different tempos. Miss Baskin and her setter have developed a true zero tempo timing on the quick, which means that she is hitting the ball directly out of her setter’s hands. This timing on the 51 set makes her an extremely dangerous attacker. But most won’t be able to see how she does it. She uses great court vision to watch her pass/dig and judge the pace of it to determine when she should leave toward her setter. In volleyball, middle transition is one of the hardest skills to master and Simone has definitely understood her assignment. Please help us welcome her to the State Rankings List.
