, has everything you are looking for in a hitter. She has size and length standing at 6’2, and she uses it to her advantage. She is a strong blocker from any position on the front row. She is one of the most versatile hitters I have seen thus far, and can easily move from the middle position to the pin. In the same set, she can go from running a slide out of the middle to running a quick set on the outside. She has tons of potential to fill whatever position. One of the best qualities about her that are non-skill related, is that she plays with intensity and passion and it bleeds out on the court and is contagious to teammates. is still uncommitted as of today. The Alamo star has been seeing some right side this season undoubtedly for her presence at the net and huge block. Her team definitely takes advantage of her offensive capabilities and uses her quite frequently so you don’t have to stay long before seeing her smash the ball. When in the outside rotation she plays 6 rotations and does a lot of serve-receiving for her team. She is a solid 6 rotation option that would be a huge pickup for any collegiate program. from Baytown, Texas. She is a part of a solid team this year that has already qualified in the USA division. Katy is a 6’0 outside hitter with a lot of hops. She has quick footwork and can jump out of the gym. She loves a quick tempo set on the outside and can bounce balls. Check out her highlights below for proof! Katy will quickly become a household name around the Lone Star State because of her athleticism and potential to be a lethal outside hitter. She is one of the underrated elite outside hitters still left uncommitted in the Houston area.

is a must-have on your recruit list for the 2024s. Taylor just joined our watchlist this year after having a phenomenal breakout high school season where she helped lead her team to a district championship. One of the most active blockers at the net, you will never be bored watching Taylor play because she is all over the net being a blocking machine. She looks best to me out of serve receive because of how active she is in the play. She has a very good quick hit out of the middle toward the setter that is very hard to defend. Taylor should be on everyone’s watchlist going foward. Check out her Sports Recruits profile below.
Mary Jane McCurdy – Outside – Madfrog ‘ last=”] 17N Black
Explosive outside hitter Mary Jane McCurdy got our attention at Sunshine Qualifier over the weekend after her team Madfrog ‘ last=”] 17N Black grabbed the USA bid. She was on fire the whole tournament and her arm could not be stopped. She grabbed 18 kills in one two-set game! Now would be a good time to see Mary Jane play if you haven’t gotten the opportunity yet as she seems to be playing her best ever. She is lethal from the front or back row and is a solid 6-rotation option. She is scrappy on defense and solid in serve receive. Check out her Hudl profile below and get Mary Jane on your must-watch list.
