Among all of these athletes on this list Lentz is the most complete player. During the high school season she is a primary setter for a very good St. Henry squad. For NKYVC 17-1 Tsunami she shares the setting role for three rotations and helps deliver a dynamic offense among the variety of arms and options her team can execute. Her biggest asset though is the complete package she provides in that she can contribute just as effectively through her ball control, defense, and in scoring points with her arm as an attacker when needed.
Audrey Leonhard | 2024
The primary setter for NKYVC 17-2 Tide, Leonhard has good experience as another key member for a very good St. Henry program. This experience has translated well to what she does for this team. Perhaps her size at 5’7 is a factor that prevents her from going six rotations and the offense going through her hands alone. However, she has the tools and I.Q. to do so. She sets with high hand contact and full range of location while also making good contributions defensively in the back row.
Kaeley Walz | 2024
At 5’11, Walz is the floor leader for Union 17 with a good skills to deliver a complete range of distribution to the pins and by running middles and pins through the center part of the net with good tempo and decisions to create some space. Her size also helps her contribute as an offensive threat as well as on the defensive side as a big blocker. Her simple movements and the consistency of her tempo is noticeable and help generate this team’s success.
Addy Bianchini | 2026
One of two setters for NKYVC 15-1 Tsunami, Bianchini is a dual threat. This is a very good team that has the ability to wear teams down with their depth, including Bianchini’s ability to distribute as well as swing on the right side through three rotations. She continues to develop her decision making and to match her skills to control and deliver the offense.
Kirsten Kemper | 2026
Kemper is the other half of the setting duo for NKYVC 15-1 Tsunami. She does a good job to get all of her hitters involved and when the setting duo can create balance then this team increases their chance to be successful. She has good touch and location through their various tempos to the pins and their dynamic middle action.
