It is such a great group of athletes who deserve recognition!
Stella is a solid athlete who is gritty and energetic on the court. She plays lights out defense and has a nice swing as well. Stella works hard on the court and is always ready for whatever is thrown her way. She communicates well and builds up her team. She is a stock riser in this class, jumping from 153 to 108 in the rankings.
Greta is one of the two setters on Sting 17 Black. She hustles across the court and keeps tough balls in play. She has clean hands and moves the ball smoothly from pin to pin. Her movement across the court is quick and clean and she never backs down during a tough match. Greta moved from our watch list to being ranked at 155.
Siena is a middle on the rise in this class. She has previously been on our watchlist but jumped up to 183 in the rankings. She has a natural talent as a blocker and reads the court very well. Her movement is swift and she has a strong, clean press over the net. She also adds value on offense and has a consistent, powerful serve.
Amelia is another athlete who is a little under the radar, but she plays big and has an even bigger impact on the court. Amelia is a six-rotation outside with an explosive approach and great court awareness. She is fearless on the court and works hard in transition and out of system balls. She was previously on the watch list but is now ranked at 140.
Emily is an impressive athlete. She has a powerful swing and a high-level block. Her cut shot is lethal. Emily uses her speed and athleticism to out-pace her opponents. She excels on tempo balls that push her to take an explosive approach. She is dynamic on the court and can swing from just about anywhere. Emily was not previously ranked or on our watch list; however, she is now ranked at 193.
I had the opportunity to see Mackenzie play at the Mizuno Showcase in the Wisconsin Dells a few weekends ago and she definitely impressed. She has a high vertical and is a go-to hitter on her team. Her endurance is solid, even when taking multiple jumps in a play. Every time she swings she hits a different shot and it was very impactful throughout the tournament.
Alexandra has exploded onto the scene this season. She was on our watch list but soared into the top 100 with her play these past few months. She is scrappy, gritty, and energetic on the court. She would run through a wall to track down a ball and is relentless on defense and serve receive. Alexandra is a fun athlete to watch and an athlete who won’t be under the radar for much longer.

! She is fast, explosive, and has a lightning-quick arm swing. She gets on top of the ball and has a quick snap. She swings well to both corners and is never quiet on the court for long. She is a go to hitter and is always engaged with her setter, rarely being taken out of plays or trapped at the net.
Morgan is a setter to watch in this class. She has clean hands and a soft touch on the ball. She really impressed me at the Badger Region Qualifier where she ran a 5-1. Morgan seemed to move the ball around effortlessly and never hesitated in her decision making. She kept all of her hitters engaged and was a leader on the court. She was not previously on our watch list and is now ranked at 150.
Nevaeh is an athlete that is always on the move. Whether she is throwing a hand up trying to grab a ball thrown deep corner, or laying out to cover her hitters, Nevaeh seems to be all over the court. She is a hard working athlete who will do just about anything to keep the ball alive. She was previously on our watch list and is now ranked 185.
