Continue ReadingThe first wave of the Red Rock Rave Junior National Qualifier started on March 4th and ended on March 6th. The age group represented was eleven through fifteen. This huge event was held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas Nevada. There was sixteen division and a total of 1,043 teams who participated. Out of that total, 573 teams were from California. 12 National had 16 teams, 8 from CA. 12 USA had 28 teams, 9 from CA, 12 American had 86 teams, 54 from CA. 11 National had 31 teams, 14 from CA. Here are the results for 12s. There were no CA teams who ranked in 11s.
12 Nationals: Coached by Bridgette Salas, Rochelle Short, and Olivia Karvelis, Coast 12-Bridgette finished with a record of 7-1 placing 2nd. Taking home silver are Chandler Short, Nariah Johnson, Maria Jose Hernandez, Brooke Proctor, Reagan Rowe, Malika Khushu, Reece Thomas, Lauren Shanner, Sierra Aswad, and Olivia Karvelis.
Also in this division, Tstreet 12 Kalia with a record of 6-2 placed 3rd. Coached by Kaila Ames and McLain Mott, a bronze medal goes to Francesca Jensen, Karla Medina, Liberty Badorek, NahlaGababa, Eliana Green, Melissa Song, Lucy Zeiter, Eliza Havranek, Julia Teijo, Catherine Riebli, Krystal Nguyen and Victoria Jackson.
12 USA: SG Elite 12 Roshambo coached by William Wong, Jaydenn Parungao, and Mathew Manaois finished in 3rd place with a record of 7-2. Taking home bronze are Brynn Carmichael, Arabella Schlaerth, Mackenzie Bates, Lauren Meza, Odilia Anene, Kelsey Parker, Sophia Saris, Camila Beltre, Miya Akasaki, and Hannah Arrieta.
12 American: 1st place, coached by Melissa, Morgan, and Jack Coberly goes to Forza1 North 12-1 with a record of 10-0. Bringing home gold and securing a bid to Nationals are Mikayla Allen, Kiara Ardines, Kalina Robinson, Rose Thompson, Kendyl Hart, Ashley Olson, Alannis Machuca, Brianna Chao, Lexi Lee, Jasmine Mendoza, Jocelyn Nading, Camila Arvizu, and Isabella Navarro.
Coming in 2nd with a record of 9-1 is Tstreet IE 12 Taylor. Coached by Taylor Rosas and Cynthia Giron, taking home silver are Chloe Leeper, Laila Beemer, Abigail Leeper, Viviana Juarez, Payton Froid, Isabella Vasquez, Juliana Picazo, Tatum Longyear, Mia Corona, Allyson Lo, Hannah Rogers and Alexandra Oliver.
