It doesn’t matter if athletes jumped one spot or 20; rising in the rankings, especially when the rankings expanded so much, is a big deal. Here are some more stock risers in the 2025 rankings
Greta is an athlete on the rise in this class. She has a lot of potential as a lefty setter who is also a powerful hitter. Greta levels up her game every time I see her play, and she is an athlete who will be fun to watch continue to excel on the court. She jumped one spot from 34th to 33rd.
Morgan is an athlete who has been on our radar for a while but really seems to be thriving and improving this season. She takes an explosive approach, is an energizer on the court, and is always ready to rip a ball. She is aggressive with her choices and never lets up. She jumped in the ranking from 38th to 36th.
Highlights
Jackie is an impressive pin hitter who was an impact player throughout her high school season and is continuing to do so during club. She is powerful and has a heavy hand on the ball. Her explosive approach and competitive mindset help her earn points on the court. She jumped in the rankings from 39th to 24th.
I remember Paige jumping onto my radar at the Prep Dig Resolution in 2022. She has only continued to impress me with her athleticism, execution, and endurance on the court. Paige is very competitive on the court and manufactures points. She is also very talented on defense and serve receive. She improved in the rankings from 42nd to 37th.
Don’t take your eyes off Braylin! She is talented, disciplined, and fearless on the court. Braylin has been a key player on her club team this season. She has a clean platform and is quick across the backcourt. Braylin is an athlete on the rise in this class and moved from 56th to 46th in the rankings.
Elise is a smart and savvy setter running a 5-1 on Sting 16 Black. She has soft hands, a quick release, and a lot of speed. Elise works hard on the court and will run down any ball. She moves her sets around and utilizes every hitter. Elise moved from 59th to 58th in the rankings.
Sylvia is a talented setter with a quick release on the ball and discipline in her movement on the court. She puts great tempo on the ball and pushes a fast offense. Sylvia can play in all six rotations and is a natural and consistent leader on the court. She jumped from 64th to 63rd in the rankings.
Highlights
Maeve is a pin hitter who is lethal on the right side. She is also has a seemingly natural vision for blocking and executes a strong block consistently. Maeve finds ways to add value on every point, whether it is on offense or defense. She has a powerful cross-court shot and is very athletic. She moved from 68th to 49th in the rankings.
