Arguably one of the top players in the country is the top player in the class! And she’s only gotten better! The six rotation pin can swing on either side, left for high school and right for club, so know telling where she is being viewed as a next level prospect. She made her second all-state team in 2022.
Witherspoon is another player that continues to improve her game. Known primarily as a three rotation pin, she has developed in the passing game enough she can be viewed as a six rotation prospect. She helped lead her team to a state title this fall.
The third player who plays up an age group, Smith has the total package. At 6’4″, she elevates above defenders from the right side for Rockwood 17 Elite. She has a good approach to the ball and swings with authority.
Highlights
Nelson is another player who does many things well. In her two seasons of varsity ball, she has eclipsed the 400 kill total twice. She is a key player for High Performance Volleyball out of St. Louis.
Highlights
The new addition to the top ten is the lady in the middle, Tara Greenberry Tara Greenberry 6’3″ | MB Incarnate Word | 2025 State #117 Nation MO . Her stock rose drastically after a strong high school season in which she earned all-state. She has been big this club season roaming the middle for HPSTL. She is a dominant blocker and effective attacker in the middle, who also has shown she can swing from the pins.
Highlights
Leftridge is another mainstay on the same HPSTL team we’ve highlighted twice. She had over 300 kills last fall on the high school scene. She is a player who stands out due to her aggressiveness and willingness to take the big rip when needed.
Lyon is a player who did many things for her high school team. 161 kills, 268 assists, 139 digs was her stat line. For club she makes things happen for a talented Rockwood Thunder 16 Elite squad.
Highlights
Paul had a strong freshman year and was looking to not have a sophomore slump but saw her season cut short. She is still a high prospect in the eyes of many who know the sport in the St. Louis area.
The setter was wheelin’ and dealin’ this fall for Parkway West, totaling just under 900 assist. She is athletic and poised in running the offense. She is a leader who makes others around her better.
Rounding out the top ten is the Jackson attacker, Katy St. John. She made her way onto the scene after an all-state performance season in totaling 401 kills. You can find her on the club scene with Pursuit ‘ last=”] Volleyball from Southeast Missouri.
